    Very thin Sicilian pizza. Sicilian is very thick crust square pizza. Grandma is very thin crust square pizza with a lot of sauce and garlic and scattered cheese (not a blanket).

    This “grandma” pizza was more like Sicilian too doughy. :(​

    Two Costco pizzas (one cheese, one pepperoni) were bought last night. Will be put in our countertop pizza oven (we went a little crazy with kitchen gadgets during the pandemic, but looking back, they were good buys as it's help us combat inflation by being able to make a lot of different things at home including pizza and wings that are similar to a restaurant) and eaten during the SB has part of our Super Bowl spread.

    Two homemade pizzas at my friends' house for the bowl game.

    Ingredients included fresh sausage, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, olives, jalapeños, and mushrooms divided up in various combinations across two pizzas to suit everyone's taste preferences.

    Usually making my own pizza is a fail, so I had low expectations. Target makes an organic ready made crust, that is vegan. I used that and classic Ragu with Target brand vegan cheese. The crust and sauce almost saved it, but vegan cheese of any kind still leaves a lot to be desired. Next time I am going to use real cheese. But not bad.

    Try using a can of sauce too. Ragu leaves much to be desired and is loaded with sugar. Make your own sauce with whole peeled tomatoes if time allows.
