Waffles, but only the thin, crispy kind, not the big clumsy Belgian style waffles.
French Toast above these two, honestly.
Pancakes, no contest. Waffles have their place, and that place is good, but pancakes reign supreme, high above all other desert-like breakfast items. There is nothing like a stack of pumpkin pancakes, filled with melted chocolate chips and drowned in maple syrup, enjoyed on a crisp autumn morning with a hot cup of Tim Hortons.
WHAT?! pumpkin pancakes, filled with melted chocolate chips and drowned in maple syrup That sounds SCRUMPTIOUS! Of course anything stuffed with chocolate chips
The whole scenario combines *counts fingers* five of my absolute favorite things into one tiny slice of perfection.
Pumpkin pancakes are the the absolute winner. There is no contest.
Blueberry pancakes are the word.
CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES.
Also Banana pancakes.
CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA PANCAKES FTW!!!!!!!!!
Waffles are a weird bad American thing.
Do actual Belgians eat them?
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. Listen, pancakes may objectively be better than waffles, but that's no reason to diss waffles. If you don't like them, try calling them "warfles" instead. Say it out loud five times fast. If you don't smile at least a little bit, you’re beyond help. Warfles are here for you. Warfles are your friends.
Waffles are so good! Just seeing all these pictures is making me hungry!
Waffles are more crunchier.
So . . . waffles.
#TeamPancake - lovely crepes with Nutella.
Growing up I was a pancake kid but now my allegiance lies with waffles.
Waffles were always a special treat at home whereas pancakes were a staple....I voted waffles
WHAT ABOUT BACON PANCAKES??
In the interest of equal time...
I just ate blueberry waffles with cinnamon sugar butter.
It’s this forum’s fault.
To celebrate the triumphant return of JCF's most valuable forum, I also ate pancakes this morning. And waffles yesterday morning.
The veganism simultaneously made certain the pancakes were more ethical and infinitely less healthy.
This question only causes needless division between two wonderful things.
Definitely pancakes, especially buttermilk pancakes.
I'm pretty sure that I had pancakes that morning a long time ago in the summer of '98 when I unboxed my bondi blue iMac and discovered this cyber-galaxy-not-far-enough-away.
