is qui gon your fav character?

 

Totally. Well... it's hard to really pick a favorite. He's one of my favorites. I wish he hadn't died so early on in the movies. He's awesome for discovering the Force Ghost though.

 

who else do you like?

 

Well, the obvious good guys from the movies, you know, Luke and Obi-Wan. But I really relate to Anakin (even though he's a fictional character) because anger is a strong trait in my family. We all would fantasize (most all; some people hope they'd be a sith) that we'd be like Luke, but we'd probably all lean more toward Anakin. He's the most human-like character. Qui-Gon is probably the most un-relatable character, because he's so perfect! Come on, nobody is that good in real life.

And, though I didn't like Yoda at first, he's grown on me.
There ought to be something in the EU where Qui-Gon appears as a Force Ghost to Luke and helps him with something. No wait, that's too much cool for one book. (unless there really is a book where that happens)

 

Add me to the Qui-Gon Jinn fan club. And not just because he's Obi-Wan's master and Dooku's padawan.

 

One of my favorite Jedi characters played by Liam Neeson and I think he deserves more recognition .He's so full of wise quotes and I more than enjoyed his appearance in The Clone Wars.

 

I can't hear that line without thinking of Windu's line from ROTS: "A sith lord!"

My neighbor across the street keeps telling me to get a life and start liking someone else, he even has his own nickname for qui gon.
Key gon jinn. He'll say it in this wierd fake chinese ascent.

Qui-Gon:
1. Compassionate
2. Stands for what he thinks is right
3. Smart

 

He is also pretty helpful. Espesially to those who needed it. Smii didn't even ask to be freed and he tried to do it anyway. One of the best Jedi masters is Qui-Gon. Just wish he were on the council.

 

He does not need to be in the council to be honest, we all know how great his force mastery and his sword skills are, he wasn't on the council because he was following his own path as a Jedi. Just like his former master Dooku, who wasn't on the Jedi council as well.

I always forget why can't qui Gon manifest a force body and only his voice?

 

Qui Gon would have never realized his own potential as a Jedi if he were stuck on the council. He was definitely the wanderer letting the Force guide him wherever it told him to go. To me he was the perfect Jedi. I would love to see a book series or comic series or anything that would give us the adventures of Qui Gon.

 

Qui Gon was always my favorite from the Prequels. I was so upset he was killed off so quickly (plus, Liam Neeson, did an impeccable job of playing this character). I was kind of hoping he could be worked into "The Force Awakens" somehow appearing to Luke or something. Ah well.

My fave scene was with Watto trying to do the Jedi Mind Trick and it didn't work. That scene always made me laugh. It was about time we get to see when the mind trick doesn't work.

 

Wake up fanclub! The Forums need more love for that amazing Jedi Master we all know is the best!
