still the jedi were never allied with the politicians nor the politics. Just the government itself. Just as obi wan states in the books that the jedi serve the republic not it's leader

 

Ok, when does your sorce say that that was first reconised as the republic symbol?

 

it's shown right in the movie of AOTC on the clone pilot helmet, on the republic commando books and games, the books from a little after TPM to before ROTS and then some. Just because my tattoo has the republic symbol inside of the jedi symbol doesn't mean that it is wrong. You should really go out and look out more in the books and such. You might learn something more.

 

So if the republic was around for a thousant years. What was the republic symbol for the other 999 years?

 

it changes over the years when new planets joined. The earliest known recording of the republic is in TPM.

 

So for 999 years they never had a symbol?

an Airtrooper, they have thick, gray armor and jetpacks.

a Coruscant Guard, not a Royal Guard. It's a trooper with lightweight heavily-padded crimson and black armor.

a Hazard Trooper, they were found in the PC game
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

a Minetrooper, they had tan armor and carried oxygen supplis.

a Shadow Stormtrooper or Shadowtrooper, they were in the game
Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast.

a Shadow Commando, they were like the scouts but black.

Okay Robert I think you've gotten the Dark Trooper mixed up on the Air Trooper classes. Also I think the mine trooper is actually the bomb trooper. I can't find any references to a mine trooper and a bomb trooper sounds more like the trooper you're looking for. I found images to everything else that you're looking for and I'll make a copy for you at the next meeting

 

Yeah, a Airtrooper maybe the same as a Bombtrooper. It's listed under Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. It's also connected to wookiepedia.


If I could pick them up some time, that would be great because I can't wait for the next meeting that is on the 9th. It's for a display that I need on the 15th. You know how time has a habit of disapering.
