A&A Official Star Wars Publishing Q&A thread

Thank you @DarthInternous It's a lot more then I expected.

 

This isn't technically a DR question, but Tom, do you think it's worth the trouble to click that "request this book on Kindle" button on Amazon? The lack of digital options for almost anything other than the prose fiction is starting to get to me--no Journals, no Visual Guides, no Women of the Galaxy...

 

I must admit ive been hitting that “I want this on kindle“ button on some of the books I want for a few years now. With no luck. I’ll keep doing but I hope I can get some sort of closure.

 

It doesn't hurt to click that button but it's hardly a magic bullet of any kind. But the advantage is it isnt just the publisher that sees it but Amazon too. As the major marketplace for ebooks if they saw an opportunity via those clicks they might push for the digital edition as well.

This is certainly something you could try to bring up with the individual publishers at conventions or via social. Making direct appeals.

 

Except this one doesn’t have one as far as I see.

So who and where would I make Direct appeals to?

 

Generally wherever you can contact the specific publishers of each title. So Chronicle, DK, etc. That's more likely to yield results than trying for Lucasfilm/Disney since the individual publishers manage the actual sale of the titles. If there isn't a publisher who has those rights, then you could try and contact Lucasfilm, but there's no best single person/entity to speak to in that way.

Twitter/Facebook are usually the best way if you aren't visiting a convention they are attending.

This is the last line of Thrawn. So, Palpatine saying "it's treason then", Krennic bitching, last line of Thrawn as spoken by Ar'alani. What does it all mean?

 

Maybe it's what Thrawn was doing on Coruscant during Rebels and it ties everything to World Between Words? That's my guess.
