Full Series Official Star Wars Resistance Discussion Thread (Spoilers Allowed)

It comes across as supplemental content to the Sequel Films. You really don't need to watch it, but if you're hungry for more, then I highly recommend it. The episodes with Poe and the last few ones were pretty entertaining. We also get some more First Order characters and storylines, but nothing on Snoke, Kylo or the origins of the First Order.

 

It's already been announced that the next season will be the last though.

I agree with almost all of this. Slow beginning, but by the end it is entertaining and I'm now really looking forward to Season 2.

However, I disagree with the last bit. I think Season 2 might change that and we'll get important info for TROS. The trailer shows Kylo in a couple scenes showing him darker than he has been. Maybe no origin info, but perhaps updating us on his state of mind and the action of the FO.

When I hear “it starts off slow, but picks up at the end” I immediately think “that means it’s probably great.”

 

Act 3 > EVERYTHING ELSE ;p

 

Haha. In almost every single movie I watch, I prefer Act 1. Lots of directors do a good job of taking off, but rarely does anyone stick a landing.

How has Kaz not have a concussion or brain damage yet?

 

Are you sure he doesn't have brain damage?

 

Well, I don't know. Do you (Not you personally) have brain damage if you only experience one symptom (balance issues)?

 

I'm thinking Kaz is sort of like Homer Simpson. He can take a beating but still gets up and shakes it off without long-lasting damages.

 

Are they seriously highlighting what is probably the biggest problem people have with the show, as a good thing? Season two absolutely needs to have Kaz grow up and stop with the pratfalls.

 

I guess the kids like that stuff...?

 

If anything, they're making fun of themselves and lampshading the ridiculousness of it. Similar to stuff they did in The Star Wars Show.
