They really need to make a full scale version of the Octuptarra Tri-droid, imo. Overdue. Love that they made this set though, throwback to the Clone Wars movie.

 

I agree they really need to make the Octuptarra tri droid in a large size when was the clone wars movie released like 2008?

 

Given LEGO's fondness for revisiting older set designs, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

I'll probably grab Malgus from ebay (no interest in buildable characters).

But that Tantive IV scenario is going to be very tempting.

 

This is such a first-world problem, but I was really hoping that the bonus anniversary figures would be matched to the era of the sets themselves. I adore that lil' Fives, but I have no shelf space for an OT set. Nuts.

This is quite a cool March wave we're getting! So far I'm planning to get (at some point) the Tantive Hallway Set, and the Invisible Hand (first ever version made!).

But seriously, how is it that we're getting a LEGO version of that scene before the Vintage or Black Series lines step up...?!

I'm gonna pass on the Sith Infiltrator, since I have one of the bigger (and from the looks of things, better) previous releases. It's kinda glaring that they haven't included a hood and cape for Maul, unless it's gonna be in the box...?

 

Well, that's lame. But it spares my wallet from any future temptation, so it's a personal win. Just a shame for anybody who's interested.

'Duel on Peridea' is a must-buy. I was hoping 'Escape From the Sarlacc' would end up being from The Book of Boba Fett somehow, and not just another iteration on that old Return of the Jedi set... but heck, I don't have any of those previous versions, so I'll probably end up with this one anyway!

Also adore the 'Creative Play Droid Builder' which was announced recently, with the lil' Leia from Obi-Wan Kenobi. Gonna be an expensive year!

 

On August 1, 2024, Lego is releasing a C-3PO which is $179.99 CDN and $139.99 USD.

It's also going to be over 15 inches or 38 cm tall.

The two midi-scale models are my favorite of these. I'm also really excited for the Jango Slave I UCS rumor. Hopefully that's true.
