Well, if their aren't any objections and no new ideas are suggested, I guess I'll go ahead and set up the Cantina.


I've already typed it up, but I'm heading off to bed (it is sooo very early down here), but I promise that I'll get it up within 5-6 hours.

All those choppy banner submission's are awesome guys. Although I don't have the "know how" or digital capibilty to throw together one. As for a social thread - I did make one called Jabba's Courtroom a few months back, but for some reason it got locked. I like the Cloud City lounge idea.

I pulled together a banner idea in the last few days. I tried to include some characters that are popular around here.

 

Gay-Len: Now that is what I'm talking about.

Smooth colors, great images, amazing flow...

Just beautiful. I think it would suit this thread muchly. A nice represenation indeed.


I think, when Obi Anne gets back, she ought to implent this as this board's banner. I think it is absolutely great!

I'm going to be doing some more tweaking, I always do. I also was wondering if anyone had things they would like to see included on the background banner. It's largely just sky and an X-Wing. If there are other popular subjects/characters/locations that I could drop in there, I'll give it a try.

How about one with Han Solo on it

 

I am tried of the normal banner!

 

Han is in there, just not as a close up. I wanted to give close ups to characters that have fanclubs in here. So I got him and Lando into a scenic shot.

 

Obi Anne: Most definately understandable.

I'm sure we can wait, and in the meantime Gay-Len can tweak the banner accordingly.

Although I am excited about getting a banner in here...it is long overdue IMO, and Gay-Len's beautiful banner will finally give some recognition to this forum.

I did a little tweaking, another link. I moved the text and added close ups of Han and Lando.
