Good character development I reckon.

So according to KRT, Currently Filming: •Andor (Pinewood) •The Book Of Boba Fett (LA) •Obi-Wan Kenobi (UK/LA) •The Mandalorian Season 3 (LA) Filming this Summer: •Ahsoka (LA).
Like always take it like everything with a grain of salt like Crait!

 

Well we know Mando S3 isn't filming. Favreau said very explicitly Mando S3 wouldn't start *production until after Book of Boba Fett. So that puts everything they claim into question. Could be true, but that missed fact puts everything else into question, they really need to get better at this to be considered credible.

 

They could also start early while book of boba fett is ending it's filming, maybe we will learn soon if they have begun or started filming, mandalorian is supposed to come soon after book of boba fett, so we see how it goes.

 

Prior to that moment, the secret of his lip hair was hidden in the depths of a dormant R2 unit.

 

Rj doing some Mandalorian episodes with Filoni? maybe.

 

That would be awesome if only to see the whiny adult's stamping their feet.

 

I don’t think it would necessarily happen next season but I’d love to see it as I think his directing is on point. Other directors have helped write their episodes too so there’s always that possibility as well.

Plus It’d be amazing to watch SaltierThanCrait and YouTube grifters be torn between their love of Mando and hatred of RJ.

 

I do sometimes wonder whY Rian Johnson wants to direct more Star Wars. is it because he a strong desire for it. or is it just to spite the fans who argue he never should touch Star Wars again.

He doesn't really come across as someone who wants to prove himself to the fans.

 

This is a no-brainier to me.

1. He wants to.
2. He is an amazing director.
3. He is hot property at the moment.
4. He will have a strict narrative to work to.
5. It will convert many of his detractors and pave the way for his series of films.

 

Because he likes tar wars and wants to do more star wars, simple.

 

Thats probably part of it. but given the way the fans have treated him. i really don't know why he would want to keep making more Star Wars. and i do believe the response to TLJ probably has put a halt on his trilogy. so the more he says shows interest, the more i just wonder whether part of it is spite towards fans who wanted to stop him making Star Wars.

Oh he is bothered. he certainly throws shade at the fans occationally for all the nasty comments thrown at him.

 

He hasen't been throwing shade since soon after TLJ released.

 

The awesome part is actually RJ "stamping his feet" to want to direct something, anything in Star Wars.

He seems to love the association.

I think that is most of it.

I really don't follow what goes on but you can't help but see the various headlines that come up associated with Star Wars and his name.

Doesn't he still bring up from time to time that his supposed trilogy (of which nothing has been officially said about for how long now?) is still on?

As an actual director on the technical side he's very good. As a writer in terms of characters and the story actually making any sense not so much so as long as they guide him through and write the script then it's not a problem.

 

I'd love to see what RJ would do with an episode of the Mandalorian. Aside from a few things, I enjoyed TLJ. Besides, the script will have already been written for the episode. Likely it will have Luke talking to Ahsoka and mentioning exactly what he'll do with his father's lightsaber should he ever come across it again...............

 

Kate Sackhoff in a recent interview stated that she has gotten the call from Filoni for filming now, apparently Mando 3 has just started filming and Boba Fett is at the tail end of it. Two different crews.
