The Bad Batch Omega (spoilers)

I think I'm jaded by Sentai. Bad Batch looks like a Sentai team and 11 year olds on Sentai teams just haven't gone well. But just the statement from DBB that Hunter will end up like a father to Omega gives me hope. I like those sorts of stories. It would suck if this ends with an everyone dies ending after a few seasons. That walker house Rex, Gregor, and Wolffe just make me think of the Bad Batch who are apparently long gone. It's not just because of the nose art that didn't make it into TCW.

Wasn't here a Clone Rebellion in Legends? I know that Rex, Gregor and Wolffe are in Rebels, but there is a possibility more Clones that survive too. I agree that Hunter being a father figure to Omega is hopeful, but I am worried about the final outcome for everyone.

 

I think an everyone dies ending is a real possibility. I hope not. I think there is room for a Clone Rebellion and for more clones to survive. Boil again comes to mind.

 

Most named clones from TCW died. The only ones I can remeber off the top of my head that appear in more than one episode.
Dogma, Boil, Kix, Rex, Echo, Wolfe, Gregor and The Bad Batch. Everyone else either only appeared in one episode or died.

 

I really doubt Dogma is alive, Tup is a good indicator of what his fate was but you never know. There are always thousands of Clones to get a new OC from. I think some Clones from SoM may have been left behind on Mandalore as police so maybe Sterling is still alive. There is also Commander Fox though I hope Vader killed him.

We can really reach farther to with oneshots like Crys who was the 212th Clone with the beautiful blond locks in "The Deserter".

 

I don't worry too much about her being annoying. she's a kid and she'll grow up just like Ahsoka and Ezra did in their respective shows.

 

Ahsoka grew into one of the backbones of the franchise which no one would have seen coming from the TCW movie. But Ezra just ran the course of a Vanilla shonan-like protagonist, not annoying but not one of Rebels stand-out characters, IMO. We will see where Omega starts soon enough.

So is she a Force sensitive female clone of Jango, a clone of someone else (perhaps a Jedi) or a genetic experiment to artificially create a Force sensitive?

And why did the Kaminoans allow her to escape? And why did they keep her secret from the Republic/Empire?

So far she seems like an interesting character, I just hope the mystery reveal won't be a disappointment. And that she won't become too much of deus ex machina in the show, always rescuing the Bad Batch...

I think Omega is something tha kamino made and something palpatine is unaware of, as Tarkin didn't seem to know Omega was a clone like the bad batch.
