VicFF sounds good. The time difference will work to our benefit. It'll be a good warm-up for one of the other chapter invasions we discussed at our last meeting.

I know this is all in fun and I don't have any problem with "invading" other forums.

I know Shara_82 already knows you are planning an attack but if you plan on attacking another chapter please at least send the CR of the forum a PM first.

Not that long ago Atlantic Canada invaded a City in Florida and it went very bad. The CR got very upset and a few people were almost banned due to some harsh words.

Please make sure that the forum CR knows you are invading and let her know the intent is to have fun. .

Yes, we know. We visit other boards too, and saw the hullabaloo from the AC chapter invading the TO chapter, and the backlash attack as well. That's why we discussed the invasions at our meeting, and it was decided *not* to invade another Canadian chapter, but instead only invade those who were cognizant of our intentions.

As Mike noted, we have a very special relationship with the Starwalkers, being that they are the Alternate Universe of our own chapter. (Victoria, AU, get it?) We've even "borrowed" their icon!

So now we just need to set a date... Tuesday next week is good for me... How is it for the rest of the Base?

All officers and personnel meet at 2100, Tuesday, March 18th for our planned invasion?

Rani, myself and the rest of the gang attempted to invade Victoria before Christmas but the folks over there were conducting an invasion of their own in Denver if I remember correctly

well, here's me reporting in, I can absolutely do an invasion, just remeber I dont' get home from work until 10 or 10:30 (my usual ride doesn't work most Tuesdays)

I'm good to go.

YJN: We have actually done this before, and we play "safe" by limiting ourselves to invading chapters with a proven sense of humour for these sorts of things.

Apparently neither do we, judging from all the visitors this Victory Base invasion planning thread seems to be attracting...

No offense, everyone, we really do appreciate visitors, especially in the social and discussion threads, but the noise to signal ratio in this thread is dropping, and it was intended for our members to discuss which forums they want to invade, and when. I'd like to see this thread return to being used for that purpose. If you want to join the invasion, that's wonderful, we're glad to have you along. I'd just like to see less off-topic conversation here.
