Yeah, it bothered me in ROTS the same way the burning homestead immediately took me out of TFA for a moment.

 

I agree. It did take me out of both films.

 

I don't know, I don't really see how an unused track could take you out of a film, unless you were really familiar with the AOTC OST before seeing ROTS.

 

Oh, if you are familiar with the music (and are a fan) it can definitely take you out of the film.

 

Like maybe I had been listening to the AOTC soundtrack for three years by the time I saw ROTS? Or like I'd been listening to the ANH score for 38 years before I saw TFA?

 

I was just happy it wasn't the Imperial March. That theme has been overused to death.
