@Bardan_Jusik cannot win in Week 3. The fate of a cat is at stake now!!! Shrewed move @Runjedirun. I think Bess needs to adopt something even cuter than a cat to shame other teams into losing to the Miners, because clearly playing limmie isn't going to do it after that Smugglers game, right @Vehn?

 

If it were a strill, maybe.

 

Even I haven't decided the fate of the cat yet, win or lose this week. Seemed like a good way to wrap things up, that's all

Sounds like an accurate description to me.

 

Then I'm safe because I already lost to the Miners.

 

That Glencross post was awesome. She beat the galaxy's best three times but can't defeat a bunch of second-graders.

 

I'd always wanted Bess to do some kind of reading program at a school, but had to deal with the fact that she couldn't read in Basic. That got me the idea to bring Alana in, which led to, "How could this situation be hilarious?"

Mission accomplished.

I just want to make a public apology to @Jedi Gunny who earned a role 33 yesterday. The Force won so I think it's best to leave the score. I'll make note to bank those points, if that's okay. I always double check...unless I got a million things going on like yesterday

 

@Trieste your post there was my most favorite post ever in this game, for oh so many reasons. We have drama, we've had tragedy and we've had comedy in this game and some truly amazing posts from some spectacular writers, but that out of all of them has been my favorite thus far.

 

I'm about 90 miles from home to attend a family event this afternoon. The timing keeps getting pushed back. I plan to at least post LFL scores when I get home. Will be later than usual to say the least and I'll probably hold off on the library thread update until Monday evening.

 

I am but one part of a gorgeous mosaic of posters that make this game awesome.

 

I'm happy to report it went well. I don't remember the last time an LFL team scored more than 28 points. Possibly never in my tenure. I don't keep these stats where they can easily be looked up.

 

Probably back when it was on the same 40-die that was being used from random.org. That was a while ago.

 

Well there goes the Kerry Trieste murder spree I had planned.

 

I had 11 teams (teams ranked nine through 19) oddly enough that had die rolls of 11 for their season, so I had to go to a whole slew of tie breaking rolls. So UBSD could have been ranked as highly as ninth in the final season rankings or as low as 19th. It just so happened they ended up at 17 and then when Wroona lost their championship game (which I use as the ultimate tie breaker) they ended up falling to the end of the line (if they would have won they would have moved up to ninth) which allowed UBSD to move up that one slot needed to make the playoff.

For those that care, UTA had the high roll this season at 15 (out of a possible 18). Carratos Noland rolled a 14 (also out of a possible 18) and Hapes rolled a 13 (again out of 18). From there it was a bunch of teams tied at 12 and then the 11's. Duros and Shilli actually both rolled 12 out of 12, so they did as well as they possibly could. For the playoff (as with the championship games) each game score will be rolled individually, so be ready for some lunacy.

 

Now that the final week of the regular season has been set up in dramatic fashion, we have a small logistical item to deal with. I will be unable to do scores at my usual late morning Pacific time Sunday. Because it's the final week of the season, there's a little more calculating that I have to do than usual to make sure the seeding is correct. Here are your options:

• Early morning Sunday Pacific time
  
• Late evening Sunday Pacific time
• Monday night Pacific time Mesh'geroya

 

Early morning Sunday and wow what a week!!!! Going to be one of the most deadly Game of Rivals matchups ever. We are talking soul sucking fatalities and a sinister voice saying Finish Them!

And yeah @Vehn, this should be a Game of Rivals for the ages. have we ever gone into the last week of the season with this much on the line? Not just for a couple of teams, but for the entire league!
