As for the proposed rule changes, would this trigger a Board of Governors meeting in the offseason?

 

Some good ideas in those rule changes, but switching to touch limmie? I doubt that is going to fly.

 

These proposals could trigger a meeting or put a target on the Starkillers next season. Maybe both. I fully expect backlash, I just figured if I was going to submit something may as well submit something substantial.

 

I am aware of a couple of people who want to pick up on this issue as a theme for the 293 season. Look for headlines tomorrow on the topic.

 

I could see this becoming an IC opportunity given its gravity. We used to do that way back.

I'm sure it depends on the league. On Ralltiir they play flag Limmie until 12 years of age. Ty and Lucie wait until their kids are 13 to allow them to play tackle.

 

USA Hockey, the governing body for almost all organized youth competition in US ice hockey, only allows checking when players are 13 or 14 years old (it depends how old you are at the start of a specific season). Sounds like the Vigos read their USA Hockey Magazine.

 

On Mandalore they are doing live fire drills already at age 12, they have no concept of what flag or two hand touch limmie would be.

Other than one organization clearly having the best front office/sideline staff, I liked how the awards broke out so that no one team dominated them this year!
