In case you were curious, like @Bardan_Jusik I simulated the entire Ojai North season prior ahead of the start of this season. Unlike Bardan, I also did playoffs due to the fact that I wanted to make the Beavers' journey fit into the bounds of this season. Improbably, not only did the Beavers come through with what seemed like a plausible playoff record after nine weeks, but they actually did win the county championship and make it all the way to the planetary high school semifinal. On a lark I'd thought it might be fun for Alana to try her hand at coaching and now it seems she might be good at it. Go figure.

 

Kind of fun to do it that way isn't it? Looks like Alana would make as good a coach as Kor'le....

 

Oh man. Oh man! Now that I've seen how the college season has turned out I have no choice in one of my draftees for 294 (which will make @Jedi Gunny very happy and me very unhappy ).

 

That was a difficult one to keep bottled up all season long.

 

The link for the name of the Vigos' baby doesn't seem to be working.

 

Taylor Hanson and his wife had a baby they named Claud Emmanuel Indiana "Indy" on the 26th of Dec. I honestly cringed when I learned that cause I wanted to use the gender and name for this game. If you google Taylor's Children you'll see several familiar male names.

 

Now that game had to be result of limmie the way it's meant to be played. Old school, rough and tumble, hard fought throughout. Great game @Jedi Gunny.

Blame RANDOM.org for the weird Helmsman nominees. Two schools each with two nominees? Not my doing.

 

I 100% blame them. Not just for this, but also for my dating life, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the Electoral College. I also blame them for not being able to find a good description of the theory behind hyperspace last night. I found something that allowed me to backdoor my way into an answer, but it would have been nice to front door into the answer.

I ordinarily wouldn't double post so soon, but I wanted to make sure that everyone saw this one: do we want to start the draft tomorrow, which has been our tradition?

 

I can be ready for the draft tomorrow, but the ones who should answer are those who worked up until this weekend on posts (our cup players).

 

I can do the Draft starting tomorrow. I will wrap my game stuff into my draft post.

 

Tomorrow is fine for launching it, but I might not be able to make the #1 pick until Thursday. I can prepare my roster by handling free agents and retirements tonight, but actually writing a post to both introduce my new character and make the pick will probably not happen until Thursday. Wednesdays are going to be my busiest days of the week this semester by far.

 

Anything to cut down on my celebration time huh?

I don't know what you're talking about. I took yesterday off to celebrate a great human being and the idea that all human beings should have the same opportunities and be treated equally under the law the Mercs championship.

 

Sadly I've been drafting my draft post for about a week now, so you know what I do when I'm out of the running, I start prepping for next season!

 

Does Numidian Prime even have a limmie team? I have no idea. I just love Lando's shirt in that scene because I enjoy wearing good prints, especially at work.

Working on my draft post now. It's far more involved now than it was going to be this time yesterday, not to mention coming much sooner than anticipated. I don't want to hold things up, so expect it soonish though, certainly sometime this afternoon.
