It was all @galactic-vagabond422, I just followed his lead and the ideas he put forth in his PM to me regarding our game.

 

They have more than one proverb? I thought all they did was have spoken.

 

I almost said it was an old Mandalorian proverb, but figured it fit the Ugnaughts better.

 

I would like to assure everyone that the Tastiged Flu will not result in the cancellation of the 297 Galactic Cup (like happened in 1919 BBY ).

However, I cannot guarantee that it won't be played in an empty stadium.

When I was creating the Bak10 (which I purposely style that way even though the Pac-12 uses a hyphen) and coming up with the member universities, I created Atalanta University as a play on Atlanta, the city in Georgia, but also hearkening back to the figure from Greek myth, Atalanta who had a famous race (and therefore a link to athletics).

This morning I discovered I was about a century too late to the idea of naming an athletic team after her.

 

Yea, so even before this week I was feeling a high level anxiety and it's really affected my ability to post. I know my posts are rather short and sweet right now. Lacking contact. Writing Limmie in theory should be a good outlet for me to forget all the craziness right now. Unfortunately, not yet. Hopefully soon I'll learn how to better cope and concentrate on using such mechanisms to help me cope.

On a very serious note: Stay safe and healthy EVERYONE!

 

If I'm stuck with no place to go and nothing to do over the next few weeks, my hope is that I can discipline myself into writing more! We'll see how that works out.

 

I should have joined the SkimmerAde League sooner. Going to be a duel in the desert next week!

Speaking of breaking out, there was never any temptation in my mind to utilize the latest bit of Ottawa Senators news about the virus . . . Just FYI that it won't be appearing in any of my posts despite my usual insistence to use their dysfunctional nature to provide interesting story fodder for my Sens.

 

And there is so much dysfunction to use there.

This was the least stressful (not that they're ever that stressful to begin with) ELL rankings I've done in a while. Talk about things breaking down conveniently.

Having said that, we're probably now heading for some kind of four-way tie now. Still possible!

 

In two leagues! In the same game! Need C3PO to tell us the odds that could have happened.

 

I meant to do award voting earlier in the week, but despite not actually having a whole ton to do during the week these days it just slipped my mind! Here's the ballot. Are these nominations controversial? Maybe. Are they what I felt was fair? Yes.

Such a great song--but also so appropriate! That was the Liz-est speech there possibly could be, which is just what these times called for!

 

Glad you liked it, I really did just kind of put that together on the fly...which somehow made sense to me.

 

BTW, Liz will always look like this to me, even if I can't remember exactly what she looks like.

OK so maybe this is the first thing I think of, but that's just me.

Good thing the Starkillers won this one: having KMI win the GCAA, Tatooine win the LFL, and the Miners win the ELL would have seemed like too much of a fix!

Turns out when that Starkiller offense gets going, it's game over! It looks like they need an Allin on field at all times, so good thing TJ's already got the next generation coming up.
