OOC Out of Bounds (The ELL OOC Thread)

Wins were easy to tabulate. I keep a spreadsheet of the Mercs scores/record every season, and so rather than delete it I just save it. So it was really just a matter of going back and adding things up, which even I can do. I knew it had to be a franchise record, because the Mercs have only had a handful of head coaches, and she was there by far the longest. I don't think any of my other coaches were even there for 135 game total, much less had won that many.

 

@Bardan_Jusik gets a bonus roll this week for simply using Billy Idol. Just make sure to reserve "White Wedding" for me

 

Stats and standings are now updated. Apologies for that delay--I know SkimmerAde scores follow ELL scores and didn't want to hold that up even though I had an early morning appointment.

I realize I'm stating the obvious...but this week got really interesting.

 

That's right--Disney cribbed from a Tchaikovsky ballet for Once Upon A Dream. Too good for me to not use this week!

 

The Sky Captains and Miners are pretty much having inverse seasons, which I find really, really entertaining and fun.

 

It just keeps getting better! Honestly, I have never been happier to see a team of mine losing games. This is just too fun.

It made the board outage today completely worth it.

So about next season, I will be on a vacation and unwilling to post from Friday June 25 - Monday July 5th and even the 5th I will be super busy trying to put my life together to get back to work on Tuesday. That is two weekends I can't do scores for the Skimmer Ade League. I don't want to scrap the whole league cause I'll be on vacation with my family, so what do we do????

Also the Golden Knights beat the Force 2x so the standings are correct, I checked.

 

I'm willing to fill in for those two weekends. PM me your current rules and procedures (I know there's been substantial changes since I turned the league over to you) and I'll handle scores. I won't be able to update the library thread (unless Bardan wants to abuse his modly powers to help), but I'll calculate the stats and send them to you so you can copy and paste when you get back.

 

Thank you! Like I said it's an I'm unwilling, not I absolutely can't kind of thing. This is a vacation originally planned in Nov of '19 and dates back to me wanting to go to this place since 30ish years ago. I'm finally getting there and I don't want to think about anything that has to get done unrelated to my trip, even Limmie.

I'm going to South Dakota, mostly to see James Butler Hickok's gravesite, but also to learn all I can about the Native American/ white settler history in the area and see the herd of buffalo and other cool stuff. So, hopefully, I'm going to Deadwood, Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Wall Drug Store, Wyoming is a maybe.

 

I won't ever argue with someone who wants to enjoy a vacation. I know I can personally go without the library thread for a couple of weeks.
