Sorry for the delay folks, was out of state all weekend for a baseball tournament for my almost teenage son. He did well, the team not so much. I was lurking around on my phone Sunday to see limmie scores though, so already have an idea of what I'll be putting together for the Galactic Cup post. Thanks everyone for your patience, it will be rewarded (if you can call it that) sometime over the next several hours (i seem to have a lot to catch up on elsewhere as well).

I was definitely thinking about 40 seasons of ELL this weekend. I definitely was not thinking about 11 actual years of my life with all of you. It's been, and continues to be, a blast and a load of fun.

 

The group chat is awesome and of course the chume'doro would infiltrate it. I love it and I want to see more of it.

 

I was inspired by some particularly hilarious group chats in a romance novel called Boyfriend Material that a friend recommended solely for the humor. When I decided that I'd actually be at the draft, it seemed like too good an opportunity to take advantage of the Trieste family for humor.

 

Back from baseball. I was keeping track of things on my phone between games, so I know who I am taking. I just need to put together a post. I am using this morning to catch up on things and then I have to take my son to his workout, I'll get the post written up after that and so my post (and pick) will be in by this afternoon. Sorry for the delay!

 

I am hoping to get my post together tonight, but if not I'll figure it out by tomorrow evening/night. My kids are still in school, and I'm back in the office 5 days a week. So I should have mostly written my post over the weekend, but I was pretty busy then too.

I'm not making my pick during an NBA play-off game, but I will make my pick tomorrow.

 

I wouldn't make my pick during an NHL playoff game.

No objections here. I will be away next week and unable to post, but I can get the first week of college scores in early (sometime tomorrow evening) and (in anticipation of this happening) I have already lined up someone to do the rankings update for me for week two.
