I can see where this is going. I'm waiting for the inevitable post where Horst and Sandy meet and Horst actually learns who she is.

 

@Trieste: Error in the library thread standings: Mando'ade is 2-4 and Corellia is 1-5.

 

Considering that and only one playoff scenario were wrong, that's a surprisingly good week for me when it comes to stats, scores, and predictions.

 

Some interesting observations from this week:

• The Miners and Pirates wound up basically playing for home field in the first round of the playoffs.
• Given the results of the top 4 playing each other this week, had Euceron won (and oh what a heartbreaker that game was), we would have needed extra games to decide who went to the playoffs.
  • I also got lucky because I didn't define the mechanic that decides who plays game 1 and who gets a bye and plays game 2. Why was I lucky? Because whoever plays game 2 would have gotten an automatic bid to the playoffs.
    • Making it up now when it doesn't matter, I think I would have used point differential. In that scenario, Euceron would have hosted Geonosis in Game 1 with the winner playing Carratos for seeding.
• For only the third time in 44 seasons, Bakura led the league in points allowed. Guess who's going to talk about that this week?

 

In MLB (before this season) a three way tie for two playoff spots would be determined by having the winner of the first game automatically clinch a berth, and then the loser playing game 2 against the third team for the second playoff berth.

 

Horst likes this idea.

 

After what @galactic-vagabond422 had to endure yesterday, I feel guilty about the Miners winning today. (And I'm also stunned the Miners outscored the Pirates of all teams!)

On a related note @galactic-vagabond422 @jcgoble3 @Vehn what are your thoughts about another LimmieCon? I'll admit that I don't have a particular idea for how things might go down there this year, so I'd be open to any ideas that would support your characters if you're interested in doing it again.

 

I'm open to another LimmieCon. Would be good anyway to get the new player's feet wet.

LimmieCon will get underway soon. I thought we'd have a brief prompt for our newest member to introduce his character and his team to the game first.
