The ashes into a crystal thing is very interesting and unique.

It's actually stolen from I believe the third book in the X-Wing series. In the book they talked about how Corellians who had joined the Rebellion weren't allowed to be buried back on Corellia for political reasons. The took the ashes and pressured them into crystals and them placed them in a chapel to make them look like stars in the sky.

Nawra blackmails him, whatever it takes!
