Did you hear about us at CE per chance?

This park meet will be our next meet, along side the Delta Source crew. Hopefully it should be our new forum announcement too

Sadly though, it's now touch-and-go whether I can make this meet
I have to see how things work out, but failing that I will be at the London Film & Comic Con in September.

Veronna - if you use the tube, you are on stop away from Green Park when you get to Victoria, just take the Victoria Line and heading north ... one stop to Green Park tube.

Worth noting that if due to heavy rain "Green Park" is more a "Aqua Park", the long standing back up plan may come into play. In keeping with the original plan for this meet to be simple and cheap, my probable plan is to head to The National Gallery. This is by no means definite (though is my preferred option) though I can imagine that if things get really bad, we may start the evening in the pub at 1600!

With regards to the arrival time and meeting place, this will be confirmed in the next couple of days.

I'll probably be heading back around 4ish as I have other matters to attend to, but meeting at around mid-day would be logical and handy.

I'm hoping for some sunshine too, although that would mean actually having a Summer this year

A number of times in the past we simply gathered at Waterloo station (the main concourse) and made our way from there.

I think that was meant to happen last year but it feel apart, lol. I'll meet everyone at Green Park though as that makes life nice and easy for me

It's not long now!

The weather reports look good and all looks okay for a great day in London. I will not be online after Thursday, so here are the final details

We will meetup at 1130 under the clock at Waterloo. The aim is to leave there at 1145 and head to Green Park and our usual spot under the tree (near the grass) on the north side. If arriving later, please travel to Green Park tube station, come down from the road into the park and give me a call.

I am really looking forward to a really relaxing afternoon, playing some cricket (do not forget the bat and balls Jamie), having a laugh and being lazy.

well im home, im tired, i look like a lobster fresh from the boil.....and i just dont have the energy to do much...but damn what a great day. Cant wait for the next park meet

 

Indeed, was a great day with some luvly weather. I can't believe how quick the day went though and how busy London was. I feared for people's lives with my cricket skills
And because I was wise and put on plenty of sun cream before I left, I now have a nice brown glow about me
