Photo Meet Up on the 16th?

I am for it. Yes, a pic in front the orchestra would be cool.

 

I think a photo with the 501st would have been better.

 

Sounds like an idea and a half as we're likely to be the biggest fans (geeks) there.

 

Photo will be great - but have to be organised about it!

Looks like the best time is 9:05 - between ANH and ESB, as the non-marathon ANH starts at 10:40. After that, the OT and marathon guys clash - only time after that will be between AOTC and ROTS - not the best time for a group pic

If we do it in the morning, we can probably get the 501st and maybe even the X-Wing as our backdrop - would be a good publicity stunt for Fox too.

So just to conclude: Meet at 9:05 outside Empire for group pic??

 

Sounds good to me, the crowd in the Square won't be as bad that early so we'll be able to find each other easily!

 

I wont be at the square till around 10-10-15ish tomorrow, so if your having the pic @ 9.05 I wont be there im afraid :-(

*9:05 - 9:25
*11:32 - 11:50 - OT ANH
*14:00 - 14:45 - OT ESB
*16:58 - 17:15 - OT ROTJ
*19:32 - 20:30 - square will be positively packed by this time

Thats why the morning break seemed like the best time to do it :S

I guess we *could* try doing it between AOTC and ROTS - after all the Odeon premiere is to start around 7:30ish - so by that time maybe there'll be enough space outside Empire for a pic?? .....but highly unlikely!

 

Raj, Maybe I can sneek out during Empire to do pic, I dont mind!

Just if I got there for 9am Id have ages before I meet my mate and also its costs more on the train and Ive just booked my holiday so have to watch the $ for the next week.

I'm thinking go with 9:05am for the Saga guys, and then maybe have a second meet up at lunch so we can include those who are just coming for those who are just coming for the day.

I don't want to make the photo only in the lunch break because I think too many people will be in a rush to get food before the queues all around the Square become massive, and I don't want to risk saying have it after AOTC as the Square will be PACKED by that point for the royal premiere.

So looks like 2 is the best bet for everyone. That way even if you can't make one you can probably make the other, and I imagine a lot of people will be on both.

So say first one at 9:05am, so come straight outside after ANH. And the second one either at the start (2pm) or just before the end (so 2:35-2:40pm) of lunch.

What do you guys think?

Btw if I don't respond, don't worry, I have plenty of phone numbers and I'll play catch up in the morning

Its all a bit new to me this as I have never known anyone into SW so much aside from one of my good friends who is currently over in Tunisia at the old SW sets himself right now on holiday! He is gutted not to be here for this! We normally go to SW events together fairs, films, etc)

What if we will be in Leicester Square but don't have the badges? How will we know who are with the boards? Is everyone going in costume?

 

Just go up to the people with badges. It'll be all right. I couldn't get my badge sorted out neither. And I neither have any costume at my disposal

I don't have a badge either - but you shouldn't have any trouble finding the FFUK lot! We'll be the ones (hopefully!) surrounded by the 501st
