There's help and there's "help."

These are two vastly different things.

UGH i am sorry

 

I hate being in a smaller town/ smaller & unimportant market. The theaters suck, only keep movies for like a week, and are not equipped or inviting for premieres that encourage cosplay. There is no WalMart, no Target, and the only store here that sells toys is Kmart, and they have NO action figures. We travelled to San Diego last weekend and got the chance to visit a Target, and all I can say is; our Kmart REALLY sucks.
I miss big stores and big theaters.
And I miss being surrounded by enough geeky friends that it didn't matter where we went.
I have decided not to line up or even buy tickets for opening night. Too stressful when its a one man operation. I'll wait until I can see it with my wife without super stressing out.
This premiere sure won't be like the last one!

I'm bummed you can't come out here and go with us. I didn't realize you were in such a small area. That sucks. I remember that pain.

 

This thread works as well as any.. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! I'm thankful for everyone that has been a part of the group this past year, and that new Star Wars on the big screen is just 3 weeks away!
