    that's really cool!
is it a scene from 'the darkness within'?
i like the mix and match element of figures old and new...

interesting fact...did you know that i hate the figures when they put cloth capes on them?
like the boba fett figures... and i don't have a new vader fig cos of it...
i saw some new figs today, the classic trilogy ones.
i might buy me a wedge tomorrow.

    Excellent stuff :D
I expect to see that platoon photo framed and hanging on the wall next time I'm round :p ;)

I like the cloth robes, but have a soft spot for the vinyl stuff too. The vinyl caped Vader's and Obi-Wan's from the seventies were classic.

The last lot of figures I got had two 1979 Vaders in with them and one of them has a mint condition vinyl cape (more a coat really) :D No lightsabers though. :(

Sadly those lightsabers are hard to come by, and when you do find one with the figure they tend to be chewed at the end.....although I was probably guilty of doing that too [face_blush]
I have two '77 Vader's, '77 Obi-Wan and 83' RotJ Luke and all have missing sabers too. Not sure how much repros are but hopefully not too much, I'll see what my Uncle can do if you like ;)

whilst in no way being an afficionado of the origignal figs,my mate alistair gave me an original stormtrooper and jedi luke.
as much as these little globs of plastic are a reminder of my misspent youth,i do so prefer the new moulds...

as an aside,i've got two of my nieces saying over this weekend,MOLLY and SAMANTHA.
they've been cleaning and cataloguing my star wars toys and apparantly i have 110 figures...* 14 ships... 33 lightsabres and 43 guns.
molly says 'there's a lot of guns, isn't there?'
it guess that's why they called it star wars!

*a drop in the ocean,i know... but a good start. it ain't easy sneaking them past me wife.

Yeah, Ell got it from The Entertainer outlet in Ilford.
I encouraged him to buy it and lent him the money...ahh, he still hasn't given it back! *marches into Elliot rooms with his Master Replica*

I got one at Milton Keynes, and we saw them a few weeks ago in Sutton Coldfield :D
Just need to find an Entertainer nearer me next time, but £5 for that figure is a bargain and a half!
