Saga Plausible but completely unconfirmed headcanons

I kind of prefer the idea that Jar Jar is a force-sensitive jester (but no a Sith).

 

The Darth Darth Binks theory was shut down in the Aftermath novels. Jar Jar becomes a social pariah and a homeless street performer for children. It was a little harsh IMO

 

That goes along with the ROTJ novelization, where it notes that, without Palpatine directing it, the Dark Side led the Imperials into unreasoning panic.

 

I subscribe to the belief that Boba Fett was with the Stormtroopers when they burned down the Lars homestead and is the one who burned their bodies. That's why Vader turns to to him in ESB and says "No disintegrations". And it makes perfect sense, because in the special editions it's confirmed that Boba Fett was on Tatooine right at that time.

 

But the Lars weren't disintegrated; just burnt to a crisp.

 

Speaking of Larses... Luke actually gives them a burial they deserve (off screen).

 

Han and Leia started hooking up immediately after battle of Yavin, but broke up sometime on Hoth, and ESB is a story about them getting back together.

 

I can see this. Maybe not immediately after. But there were three full years between ANH and ESB for things to happen. And by the start of ESB, Han is super forward in taunting Leia about how much she likes him. There's got to be some history there already.

R2 actually does receive a memory wipe between the PT and OT.

I'm sure that there are new canon sources that demonstrate otherwise, but it still makes more sense to me.

I'm willing to bet the Ewoks just waited until the Rebels left to cook up those juicy stormtrooper steaks......

Oh, here's a popular one: Cody's name is derived from kote, the Mandalorian word for glory.

 

Owen & Beru knew about Ani & Padme's secret marriage and her pregnancy, so they knew Luke was family when they took him in, rather than just accepting whatever Kenobi (whom Owen probably did not trust) told them. Ani & Padme felt they could trust Owen & Beru with this, since they were far away from the crisis area and weren't under anyone's scrutiny.

 

Out of curiosity, why would they risk contacting Owen and Beru to tell them about their secret marriage and pregnancy? They only met once.

 

I don't think Tarre Vizsla was white.

 

Like I said, they're outside of the loop. It's tough to keep such a secret; I'm sure it hurt Padme not to tell her family (and that's another point I believe, though I'm not sure if it was ever addressed). They needed to tell someone who would sympathize and not be judgemental, and who could be trusted. And though we only saw them meet once on-screen, I can see them meeting again on occasion, if only to get away from all the stress of Coruscant.
