Lets see what everyone here is currently rocking out to. :p

Here is my Winamp playlist. Currently, the bands out of it getting the most play time on the ol' iPod: Death From Above 1979, Death Cab For Cutie, 30 Seconds To Mars, Stars, and The White Stripes.

    What about you guys?

Updated list. Lately all I've been listening to is Broken Social Scene, The White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Parade, and Vancouver's own The New Pornographers.

    What about everyone else?

Hmm, BSS is alright, there is SO much hype and i got some of their stuff and i wasn't really impressed. White Stripes are good, but i listened to them too much so i can't stand them any more. Never heard about Arctic Monkeys or Wolf Parade. New Pornographers are good. I've been listening to Azure Ray, and Mewithout you, both are ABSOLUTELY amazing, Mewithoutyou is really christian but they've hooked everyone i know who've listened to them.

I don't really have a playlist, I just put a bunch of CDs in my player and play 'em.

"CDs" makes me seem old, doesn't it?

I haven't bought anything new in a long while, but usually go for stuff that has a lot of tempo, like punk, dance, and some latin music and big band stuff. But it varies, the mainstays of my changer these days are by The Propellerheads, The Clash, Days of the New, Cake, The Chemical Brothers, and at least one of the Star Wars movie soundtracks.

Dude BSS are awesome! You Forgot It In People is an absolutely great record and the second self titled one isn't bad either. You should check out Wolf Parade, another great Canadian indie band. Very raw sound, its awesome. And Arctic Monkeys are also indie but have caught the attention of many. They're out of the UK.

NIN: With Teeth, it's an alright album, he's so much calmer, but his songwriting hasn't improved and he's mellow, not angry, it's not the Trent Reznor i know and love

Ramnstein: Rosenrot, I went through a HUGE phase of Ramnstein like maybe a couple years ago, but just sort of stopped listening to them, metal is very nice in German though.

Pearl Jam: 'nough said, absolutely AMAZING, i love them......

Yes: and Emerson: never heard of them

Weezer: Blue Album, i never really liked that, sure it had some great songs but i was never really into Weezer, i love them, but their music just gets kind of aggravating after a couple of hours.

Yes and ELP are progressive (or "prog") rock bands from the 70's. Rush are prog, but Yes and ELP, and ELO, and Genesis, and King Crimson, and The Moody Blues, etc, sound NOTHING like Rush. I hate Rush.

The new NIN I really enjoyed, since El Rezzo has tried his hand at singing, instead of just screaming. Don't get me wrong, I like both, but it's good to see some experimentation. Where would Bowie be today if he hadn't changed styles, and tried new things? Dead! That's where! No, probably just a drunk...
