Entry 79

Steve Magaron can be kept from escaping by his visitors. Bret and Jono are his regular keepers. Steve had a very nice birthday yesterday when Peter Sloan came with Tarkan Er Veridan to his room. Tarkan had a holocron in his possession that was recognized immediately by Steve and Jono. He had found it on Coruscant on a stop to Lingala when he saw two men fighting and the holocron skittering away. He couldn't return it to the owner Cade Skywalker and took it. When he saw Peter Sloan's father, that man advised him to go to Moniron to keep the holocron safe. He did and Aaqu will bring it to a safe place in the healers academy in the valley of Eled-Hir.



Entry 80

A traffic incident that had Ivano and me involved had us going home to relax. We did that with a long ride on our husans. Ivano told me that tomorrow is his day of keeping Steve Magaron from escaping.

I have visited Donnely bakery and ordered his famous pies. Why? I will be celebrating 500 years as a special ops officer. That's tomorrow and I have seen my colleagues doing hush hush when I saw them.

 

500 years, talk about a long time in a career LOL about having to keep Steve from escaping.

Entry 81

I am in the hospital recording this after being moved to room number nine with Ivano. My diary was brought here by Kaagi Adin after Ivano got his.

Why?

We have been in an accident caused by some reckless joyriding teenagers. They could be identified by our CSI team thanks to the handbag of one of the teenagers that had caused our engine to quit. Thorough research led to a missing identichip that was found near the wreackage of our airspeeder.

I have a broken left lower arm and left femur, fitted now with plates and pins and some broken ribs.

Ivano has a left broken lower leg and also broken ribs.

And we are...



Entry 82

Connected to all sorts of thingies, making escape impossible. I can continue after the beeping IV was silenced when a new bag was placed on the pole.

Pat Huling was here today to entertain us with his tales about the Jedi.

He had a funny story about Mace Windu and the color purple and Kaagi.

 

Ouch what a lot of injuries. I cringe at the very details. Nice they are being entertained by amusing stories.

Entry 83

Erdin Felaron sure keeps us busy. He has set up shop in our room and gives us reports to sign. We have fun of course adding sticky things to the files to annoy our archivist Monica Nuala.

Steve Magaron was visiting us and telling about Jocasta Nu when Kaagi came in. He told Steve that he could be released but had Bret and Jono as his Magaron sitters.



Entry 84

Steve was released three days ago but with a right hand in a splint and a left arm in a sling he has two Magaron sitters. Jono and Bret will care for him. And Halfir Majeski is helping him. Today Ivano had to go to the therapist. He fully expected to see Kaagi Adin but met Maranella Koroni. And that was a disaster.

But explained by Erdin. Maranella is in love with Steve Magaron and was distracted.

And Kaagi? He was on an expedition to collect draxin and was contaminated when a rock destroyed his face-plate. He is now in the room next to us after the infamous midillamin treatment for dead midichlorians.

And that's nice. We can make plans for the marriage of Steve and Maranella. And for Mick Kerebuy and Denise Delmin. They are marrying on the same day. But bachelor parties first and those will be fun.

 

Entry 85

We were released after the funny bachelor party for Steve and Mick in the swimming pool of the hospital.

The next day I was there at the marriage party for Mick and Denise and Steve and Maranella.

Mick and Denise had signed the papers before the official of the townhall mr Candida and were going back on their husans to the Keranan farm.

It was the start for Ivano and Halfir as witnesses to come with Steve to the beach. They were riding their husans and going to the surf. Steve rode his stallion Alanor into the water where Maranella rose dressed in a white gown made from simmersilk and placed her in front of him.

They spoke the vows before Jasir Ere Dun and were going to mr Candida to sign the documents. Ivano was the second witness to sign but spurted away with Aaqu on their husans. Aaqu's wife Lynne was about to give birth.

Ivano still had to sign the document for the marriage. Mr Candida asked Kaagi where he could find mr Arvedai and that had all of us following Kaagi to the room where Lynne was with Aaqu, their son Ken and baby Ariana and Kaagi's wife Aranella and Ivano. Kaagi and mr Candida could enter the room for the signing of documents. And all were invited to come to Kaagi's birthday party and the celebration of the birth of Ariana.

Guiding Steve and Maranella after the party to their speeder I saw Ivano again. I told him that I didn't know why Jadin Finn had that devious smile on his face when he shook my hand.



Entry 86

That devious smile was for me because he was scheduling the surgery for Ivano and me. I had that surgery to remove the thingies from my arm and leg. Jehna Er San was my sleep-doctor and Aradan Mirdees the surgeon.

Ivano had Kaagi as his sleepdoctor and Aaqu for the thingies removal. He is now staying at Aaqu's place.

I am at Bret Chedokin's place to recover.

Bret takes me each day to the hospital for therapy, given by Kaagi. I meet Ivano there and he is complaining about baby-sirens.



Entry 87

Therapy is ended for Ivano and me and we went to the celebration of the birthday of Aaqu. Ivano invited us to celebrate his 489th birthday on the beach.

 

Entry 88

Ivano's birthday party was fun but not what he was serving. The mujaa juice must have been out of the fridge for hours or even days. I was doing my reports at my desk when Pat Huling came in with a painfull expression on his face. First thought; bad Mujaa juice but Pat began to moan and that had me taking action and delivering him in the ER room of the hospital where he had to go into surgery. His appendics had ruptured giving him peritonitis.

I went to the restaurant of the hospital to wait for news, ordered caf but got caf and a briku-fruit pie because chief Mouraha insisted after seeing my face.

I was finishing that briku-fruit pie when another was placed before me by Tarkan Er Veridan who told me how he ended up in Noranan after finding that holocron on Coruscant. I was telling him about my disastrous experience on Boreas and a Jedi knight who tried to break my shields when Aaqu came to our table.

He told us that Pat will recover fully.

And I telling him about what came after Boreas and me getting injured during an op in Coronet city and meeting Jarin Keana had Tarkan telling us that he had a diary from Jedi knight Jarin Keana in his possession.



Entry 89

I was beginning to tell Pat about my CorSec adventures when Aaqu came in with a stranger.

The man introduced himself as Rian Solma and said that he would bring a copy of his diary tomorrow and offered his assistance in Pat-keeping, being a former Jedi-crèchemaster.

I appreciated that and told him that Ivano Arvedai was coming tomorrow.

I have to stop.



Entry 90

That to stop was to tell Pat more about CorSec.

Today Pat and Ivano were talking 'fire' and busy. I had a very entertaining read in the diary of Rian Solma with all those cats and pitin making life interesting.

Surgeon Jadin Finn came in and inspected the drain from Pat. He said that I must have had excellent care when I was treated for a wound caused by a particle slug on Corellia.

I started reading more in the diary of Jarin Keana and discovered that I was saved by two Jedi-healers.



Entry 91

No more Pat-keeping. Pat was released today and had to come to the beach party for the workers of Noranan General Hospital. And I saw my colleagues and Ivano there who asked me to go on a ride tomorrow.

 

Entry 92

I was on Aran, my husan and with Ivano on Nauran riding on the beach when my pager began to beep.

It was the beginning of an opp that had us going to the valley of Eled Hir where the missing Big Fish, one of the rescue-craft, had landed with her takers. One of them – Vlado Virinne – must have heard our discussion about the Dorsetti holocron.

Eled-Hir had been busy with an exercise with his fire-fighters and was playing the victim. He could tell us where the gang was.

Inside the library of the academy with firefighters Gareth and Mardil and teacher Leda and 4 children as hostages.

I got a black coverall from one of the firefghters and could hide a blaster given to me by Steve.

Mardil was found at the entrance and had suffered a headwound. He was carried out and we went into the academy. Steve and I entered the crawlduct and followed the instructions from Tarkan and Ivano to the door leading to the library where Ivano used a thermal imaging cam to see who was where.

We had another grate and could enter the library using a rope landing on the stack. Steve discovered a useful item on display in a case and took it. It was a lightsaber. We discovered two boys and signalled them to go up and towards the rope to the crawlduct.

Two saved.

Leda, firefighter Gareth and two girls to save.

Steve saw one of the gang directing Leda to find the boys and pointing his vibroblade. He jumped down and used the lightsaber.

Leda said that it was Yoda's lightsaber.

Steve used it to deflect blasterbolts when we saw Gareth and the two girls.

We had to get out when Steve saw that the girl leading the gang had activated a timer.

Back to the entrance where Gareth saw the wire indicating that the door was rigged.

Steve used the lightsaber to cut another exit and we were out when the thermal detonators had the place engulfed in fire.

Today we returned home after hearing from Eled-Hir that the Dorsetti holocron was to be stored in a new vault. And Steve had to give his 'tool' back. It had been the lightsaber of Master Yoda, brought to Moniron by firefighter Luciano Robi who had found it in the senate after the fight between Master Yoda and Palpatine.

 

Entry 93

An incident on the road to Rondor had my attention when Eren Moarin came to my office to tell what had happened to him and Ker Zomorian.

Eren was funny telling me that I was the second Tarhin to meet this day but he gave a detailed account on the accident.

This is part of what I recorded and is now in my diary,

“Ours was a groundspeeder and we were on collision course with two of those new fat-wheels speeder-bikes going at break-neck speed. I had to evade them and that had us meeting that tree and me jumping clear. Ker couldn't because that bike passed on his side. A jump from him would have a fat-wheel down too. We could have avoided the crash but that would have those youngsters crashing and probably dead because they didn't wear helmets.”

“A valuable account Eren. We have had more accidents with those modern fat-wheels. I will add this to my report to the government.”

“And now my dad?”

“Yes Eren, follow me. I like to know more about you and how you got here.”

I brought him to Rondor, met his father and have some ideas about that toy-shop and Roslyn Nunn, the owner of the toy-shop in the hospital who wants to retire. Tomorrow I will visit Ker Zomorian.



Entry 94

Kaagi Adin was visiting Ker Zomorian when I came in to question him. First I had visited Roslyn Nunn and had bought a toy.

Ker told me his version of the crash and how he saved those six youngsters by staying inside the speeder.

I told him that I had heard from Eren more about his past as a Jedi-master of the Intel department and asked him if he wanted to join the Noranan police as a special ops officer. He agreed but asked about Eren and Karan.

I told him that Eren and Karan will have a thriving business with Rondor as its base and a regular income here in Noranan in this hospital. I took the toy out of its satchel and draped that over the splint.

Kaagi was smiling when he saw the toy, a Beesie.

And Ker said that the jobs were perfect for Eren, Karan and him.



Entry 95

After my shift ended I visited Ker Zomorian.

He told me that he had Mick Kerebuy inspecting the leg who told him about his days on New Holstice where he met a toys merchant named Han Hano until meeting him again here in Noranan as Tim Xothi and former spy Tim Kirwin.

The name Tim Kirwin had me telling about my visit to Mitrinna and asked by Hems Oilosse to bring the copies of medical files to the Monir university hospital.

 

Signs of true heroism, right there. To calculate those variables and selflessly opt to take the hit, all in the split-second of a crash, is incredibly impressive. It's insights like these which inform your characters so well.

And makes it no surprise that Tarhin offered Ker a job on the force, either!
