    Interesting that the second flag on that list is Slovakia's. I can confirm that that paid leave can be taken by either the mother or the father (even though it's mostly by mothers - a lot of people still don't realise that fathers can take the leave as well). And I'm pretty sure that applies in other countries as well - in fact, don't the Scandinavian countries have a rule that says the father must take a certain portion of the leave, so it's not all just on the mother?

    And anyway, the 3 years leave aren't mandatory anyway. The parents can choose to go back to work sooner, if they choose. But at least they have the option to stay with their young child without having to sacrifice their job and income.

    Sorry for srsposting, but this is a somewhat personal topic at the moment... :p

    That is correct. Parents in Sweden have 480 days paid leave per child, so each parent has a right to 240 days. The parent who did not give birth is required to take at least 90 of those days.

    Are you not at all concerned that the Republicans are shutting down any scrutiny of the accusations against Trump. No witness testimonies nothing?

    If this was a murder trial and the defence just came out with didn't do it and you can't call anyone forwards to testify and provide evidence that I did. The nation would be crying foul.

    Trump may not be guilty. If he's not, why then are his defence so dead set on having those who should be able to exonerate him come forwards and provide witness testimonies
