Right, he's the one who said that he would only vote for Supreme Court Justices who believed Roe should be overturned and then he said he was going to vote for Amy Barrett and then when people did the math, every conservative on the Judicial Committee was like, "How dare you say that she'll vote to overturn Roe!? What do you think she is, some partisan hack?" And the Democrats really did not make enough hay out of the fact that, well, if we think she's a partisan hack, you need to talk to Josh Hawley (and President Trump) about why. Because Graham and his ilk tried to paint the Democrats as hysterically overreacting by "pretending" that Barrett would vote to overturn Roe, but, you know, Josh Hawley said she would . . . and, of course, she said she had made no commitments to anyone, but then Trump said she would vote to overturn the ACA and there's really only one way he could know that, soooooo . . . we might need to get to the bottom of this.

Or, you know, just put her on the highest court in the land. I mean, she may have horsetraded her vote on Roe to get Hawley's vote and she may have horsetraded her vote on the ACA to get the nomination in the first place, but WHO GIVES A **** SHE HAS SHCOOL AGE CHILDREN YAAAY!!!

I mean, most likely Hawley and Trump are both just full of **** and she didn't make any commitments to them. I mean, I think that's probably the reality of the situation. I think she's smarter than to make explicit commitments and they're both stupid enough to not understand the gravity of what they were saying. But there was enough of an implication of corruption there to cast serious doubt on her credibility and her integrity and the Democrats really didn't make enough out of that. Some of them did, but it wasn't really hammered home hard enough in my opinion.

A Vietnamese student of Ho Chi Minh thought probably has a better take than you on if her nation is communist or following Uncle Ho, and from there whether or not their socialist governance is helping deal with the virus (which is objectively true).
