Okay, that's about the most random poll suggestion I've ever seen. Any background to it?

 

Yes. There is a background to it.

I have a theory. My theory is this. Conservatives drink Coke and Liberals drink Pepsi. We want a "scientific" poll to measure the accuracy of my hypothesis.

Of course, we all know that Coke is the real thing and Pepsi is a cheap, flat knockoff.

For the record, I drink Coke . . . and I'm a Conservative. My husband drinks Pepsi and he is a Liberal. But we both agree that Han shot first which is why we can cohabitate.

 

My answer would have to fall under "Other": I'm a liberal and I used to drink Coke and Pepsi, but now all I drink is water, sparkling water and soymilk.

 

Haha. I'm half tempted to post it, and half really annoyed by the idea.

For the record, I'm closest to a Liberal (these bizarre American definitions are completely off the wall) and drink neither Pepsi nor Coke out of choice, but when forced I'll probably take Coke.
