Popular characters that you never cared for.

I wouldn't say that I hate Padme, but it bothers me that her character lacks depth. It doesn't help that she has some of the worst lines of dialogue in the PT (e.g. "Anakin, you're breaking my heart!").

 

Padme's a popular character?

I have no problem with Fett in RotJ. Revealing him as Jabba's bounty-hunter-on-retainer fits well with what we see in TESB, and his "going out like a punk" doesn't bother me since it's not like he's been established as a master combatant, just a skilled tracker.

The stuff with the Fetts in AotC was overkill, though.

The Fett-Man was still iconic until AOTC. Like Darth Maul, he still had the fans who believed poor writing/lousy script "did him in".

AOTC was like taking the bikini off a mysterious Latino sexy woman.

We clamored for it, but we should have left her in the bikini - far more tantalizing.
