I was just thinking of this game and I couldn't remember what it was called. I was a 15 year old idiot at the time, but it was great.

 

I can't find it, but as I recall @malkieD2 made a LOTR 4 Title Speculation thread and suckered quite a few people.

 

It was Darth_OlsenTwins.

And, yeah, it was a great thread.

I have to add to the list the original Great Barnacles threads, before Jules Barnacle joined the troupe and quality went downhill.

Holy crap, @tom, this is 15 years old. We are ancient.

In retrospect, funny as they were, the best part of the Barnacle threads is how irrationally mad they made PiaS because they made fun of him.

 

They got something drastically wrong in the second one:

With Padme Bra, discussion took place as to why bras only come in size A, B, C, D, E and F. After some petty fights involving your favourite suckees, it was agreed that:

A: A little too small
B: Being almost visible
C: Can turn a guy on
D: Darth_Sapient
E: Enormous boobs
F: Fake

I mean, I'm pretty sure the " Jeff " was in her signature so of course it seemed like they did that in every thread.

 

My favorite thread was probably the Hyperspace Webcam one. I remember enjoying the discussion and speculation on what we were witnessing - what was going to be the final Star Wars film. I don't think any other company has had a live webcam pointed at their set. It's pretty amazing to think about especially how secretive the company is.

 

I am quite partial to A Penguin for Bigger Fish.

Still absolutely hilarious to read through. Unfortunately, many of the longer posts are cut off (probably after a certain number of characters), often UN the middle of a word. I'm guessing that happened during one of the migrations to different board software.

 

Off topic but is there any way to find my old username? I totally forgot it over the years i stopped coming here after i graduated HS back in 2006. You know life happens. I slowly faded away from this site to Thefuselage.com or Losttv.com because I was addicted to LOST. I came back during the clone wars era but probably never logged on. I kinda just excepted the fact that it's gone forever. Would be nice to find it and see all my old post. I can't remember my name but I'm sure it was something to do with Jedi or Obiwan with numbers. Probably 007. I guess I can search old topics and try that way. I know it when ill see it, im sure of that.

 

If I recall, there was a joke forum set up after ROTS came out called 4SA. Speculations about Episode IV. Funny stuff.
