    1. Finn. Best example for he Everyman hero, best single film character arc in the Saga.
    2. K2SO. Funny, full of personality, and honestly the one who's death still hits hard even on rewatches (I might be succumbing to memories of Wash's death in Serentiy as well.)
    3. Chirrut. "I am one with the Force, the Force is with me." Damn.

    *2b.* This would be Donald Glover as Lando if the character weren't an OT original.

    My top three favorite characters of Disney era (beyond just the films):

    1. Rey
    2. Sabine
    3. Kylo

    I frickin’ love Sabine too much not to mention her.

    Some people count Luke, Han and Leia. I don’t count them since they’re not new characters of the Disney era. If I had counted them, Leia would be second only to Rey. Those two are my very favorite SW characters.

    I do like Rey and Finn, but 90% of that is because Daisy & John are so charismatic. The quality of the writing in both of their films hasn't yet risen to the level of their performances.
