Okay, so I've heard the rumours, I've seen the empty pegs, but so far, no actual figures. How's bout the rest of you?

Any sign of actual figurage in TO?

    I've been to Walmarts in:

    Stoney Creek, Mississauga and Oakville.

Oh, but I did get the 300th Fett at Zellers today, nice surprise.

    Hi Guys,

I have not had any luck with finding any figures. I just moved to Burlington 2 months
ago so I dont really know where alot of the
stores are. By the way for you folks living
in the Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Burlington area. Are there any stores you recommend for
    figures.
I have been getting mine in the US including the newest ones: Aurra Sing, Sae See Tinn jedi guy, Theed Amidala etc. The prices have been nuts too, averaging
$20-25 cdn per figure. I will keep my eyes
open and buy multiple figures if I see any
in Burlington. I suggest that if you guys can afford it, to do the same as well. Hopefully as a team we can keep on collecting...

By the way I am still looking for the 12"
    IG88 and 4Lom

well, In Stoney Creek, the Walmart is on HWY 20, in Eastgate Mall, Oakville is on HWY 5 near Trafalgar, and Mississauga has a couple, I was at Square One, didn't have time to hit the Erin Mills area one. There's also a Walmart on Hamilton Mountin on ummm... Upper James?

If you're paying like $20-$25 for figures from the States, you're nuts. Even the local comic shop only charges 13.99ish for new figures, and they've had at least SOME of the POTJ. (Conspiracy on Brant in Burlington)

An exchange of doubles for those on the hunt sounds good in theory, but we'd sorta have to know what people were looking for.

As to the 12" figures, try Mapleview Mall, there's a place called the General Store that has a toy booth that HAS had them.

    Chris

and yes, I live in burlington.

In other "The General Store"s I've seen some SW stuff that I'd never seen before, so I expect it's new or hard to find. There's one in Hillcrest mall, and another in the mall way out east near Hwy 7 and McCowen, or Warden or Kennedy or one or those.

Just my 2 cents, not much help to the Hamilton/Burlington crowd though.

will check it out later today...

    Mike

I picked us 2 Biker Scouts and a Plo Koon today in Ottawa, 8.94 each. I also saw (but couldn't afford!) a K-3po, Han Bespin Capture, Boomer Damage and Anakin Mechanic.

The real question, Jedi Warrior, is where did you pick them up?

At a Wal-mart or TRU or did you get them at a specialty store like a comic shop?

    Inquiring minds you know!

    :)

Wal-Mart, TRU has them also, but they're $12 each, and they didn't have variety, just a lot of Boomer damage and Mon Cal.
Why? Do you live in Ottawa?

Well, if anyone wants me to get something in Ottawa, let me know?

    I don't buy figures myself so I don't check them out. ;)

LEGO on the other hand.... ;)

I snatched up a Nute Gunray at the Square One WalMart today. Finally I've got my pair of variety show hosts.

If anyone's interested, the WalMart also had an ep1 R2 and a couple of Yodas. Didn't see any new figures there, however.

    Damn Sam,

TRAGIC!!! er, Rob, er whatever, grab me a yoda if you can. I was THERE man, and i didn't see a yoda. If that's the one in the council chair, please do grab it for me. Oh, and a Ki Adi Mundi for Jeff, he's trying to get the entire council. Gosh, guess you should grab two yodas then...

If you do see them and can grab them rob, that's be great.

    Hi Guys,
By the reports posted above, it looks like
purchasing the newest waves of figures in
Ontario are alot more promising than last
year. I went to the 2 Conspiracy comic book
stores ( thanks Chris ) and found several of
of above mentioned figures at the above mentioned prices. It sure beats what I have
been paying for them in the US. By the looks
of things there is going to be another 25
figures coming out this year. I might have an
extra Yoda at home. I will check tonight.

    Sorry Chris...

I swung by the WalMart on the way home tonight and almost a third of the stock that was there on Monday is now sold out. It's like a wave of toy pirates sailed by the WalMart on Tuesday -- as the McFarlane toys were very picked over as well.

All the Yodas were gone. Ditto for the Ki-Adi's. Heck, there wasn't even a Ric Olie left.

Damn. I was there I think last friday, and yea there was lots of stuff. Ah well.

Guess we just keep vigilant and keep each other posted on what we find.

I've now seen tons of Fett's in Zellers stores, in case anybody was looking.

Actually I am looking for a Boba Fett if anyone feels like grabbing one for me. I
will post if I am able to buy one. Which
Zellers had them Chris. By the way I looked
through my figures and I do not have another
one. I will keep on the look out for you.

They was just the one R2 and it was three bucks. I'd hid it in an entirely different aisle behind a stack of fire trucks. But mere fire trucks can't stop the ravaging toy pirates. It was gone when I checked on Wed.

Arrrrrr, the Mall is a harsh mistress to be sure mateys.

    Hey all,

I've done a quick search and only found a little

The Zellers at Vic Park and Danforth only has the new 300th fig-Boba Fett. ($13) But they only have about 50 there (so get there soon!!!)

As well I got K-3P0 and IG-88 at the TRU on Vic Park and Lawrence for $12 and then Plo Kloon and the Mon Calimari at Wal-Mart in Markville Mall for $8 (a bit of a difference in price!)

Anyone check the TRU's on Yonge (Queen and Eglington)?

    Still searching...

    Walmart is evil.

    Walmart is the States.

You do not want a Walmart in burlington so you can easily buy cheap toys.

You do not need little plastic dolls of people who do not exist.

    ...
    ...
    ...

OH, sorry, caught me meditating there.
Have now seen piles of Fett's at all three Zellers in burlington, so they are easy to find anyway. Glad to hear some of you are having luck. Oooohh, PLO, gimmie gimmie!

(as you can see, the meditation isn't helping)

At least there's been cheap lego around.

Well, just Zellers, but there's a bunch of olderish sets marked down for clearance, and I got some while Zellers was also offering 15% off. Plus, there's a Zellers in like Stoney creek that had some older, admittedly non-starwars sets, discounted that i also got for parts.

Sorry if I got you over excited there, nothing like the crazy sales the US folks get.

    UCS X-WING $25.00 @$#@#%#@%#@!!!

    Chris
