I really enjoyed seeing the progression of costume detail the guards wore from the OT to The Mandalorian. Film continuity wise they went from a beloved design of ROTJ and introduced it as a sleeker look that predates the OT. I adored the Blue Senate guard look in AOTC more so than TPM. And both were updated a bit for ROTS. I didn't care for the none robe look in Rebels or much for the FO Stormtrooper red look of TROS but as we went into The Mandalorian, that season 3 look was fantastic!
The TLJ is unique and has grown on me over the years.
