    Predict the OSCARS!!

The nominations for the 82nd Academy Awards have been announced. As have in past years, we're going to host another Predict The Oscars contest! A big thank you to Captain_Typho for the original suggestion, and to droideka27 and Tyi-Maet_Nefer for hosting it before. :)

    Here's how the game works:

  2. Now that this thread has been posted, the game has begun.
  3. The game ends at 5 p.m. boardtime on March 7th, right before the awards air.
  4. To participate, please copy the list of nominations below and select one under each category and then post your picks in this thread. (This means if you neglect to pick in one category, you are missing out on the chance for a point that others are getting... so don't forget any categories!)
  5. You can change your picks after your initial vote by merely reposting your list and indicating that this is the updated version. Do NOT post indicating that you want one thing changed on a previous post of yours. This could get overlooked and mess up your results!
  6. No changes will be allowed past the midnight deadline.

  7. To make hours of less work on me, this year, copy and paste the post above you and add your name in the proper category. For example:

    BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME
    The Princess Bride:
Robin Hood: Men in Tights: NYCitygurl
    Spaceballs: EmpireForever
    LOTR: BartSimpson-SithLord, Tyi-Maet_Nefer
    Hairspray:

Copy and paste all the categories, and add your name under your choice.

    And the Rewards:

After the Oscars have been given out, I will go over all the submissions and we will determine the winners. They will be scored one point for each accurate guess. The person(s) with the highest number of right guesses will receive 72 hours of colors and the title "C&G Predict The Oscars Winner." Second and third place prizes of 48 and 24 hours will also be given.

    Extra Rules:

  8. Only one final vote per person allowed. Anyone caught voting with socks will be disqualified.
  9. Feel free to converse about the Oscars in this thread, but anyone exhibiting severely rude behavior (banable behavior) may additionally be disqualified from the game.
  10. For your knowledge as well, there is already a discussion thread over in the Amphitheatre regarding the Oscars. If you're interested in such action, since this is more of a game thread, it's open to anyone to visit.

  11. If you have any questions feel free to PM me or post them in this thread. Good luck and enjoy! :D
