honestly i've become convinced that they've finally killed the business by exposing it so much. Yeah there's more wrestling than ever, but ratings are down, house show business is bad. they constantly talk about the inside of the business, then nonsensically run feuds on twitter as if anyone can suspend disbelief anymore.

 

AEW is doing well it seems. I love what the Elite are doing iver there and Chris Jericho is an awesome heel. WWE has just watered down the product so much when there is "real" wrestling on it often gets over looked. I'm not sold on Reeho as women's champion but Kushida might make a run soon.

Plus it's common knowledge WWE holds wrestlers down and does not allow them to use their full move set. Ember Moon and Ahsoka we're amazing in NXT. On the main roster they look boring like everyone else and only using a small amount of their move set.

 

Was Ahsoka there before, during or after Rebels?

 

WWE has a house style on main roster. AEW's women's division needs work, but Riho is very over and they just added a new wrestler, Shanna, who wrestled Hikaru Shida on this week's Dynamite. Shida is also full time now, and I think she'll be a big star. She's good in the ring, has a great look and her English is good.

Hopefully they sign Jamie Hayter, Mercedes Martinez and Big Swole.

 

NXT is killing it right now. I've pretty much dipped from WWE programming for now (**** Crown Jewel, canceled my subscription in the lead up) but inject everything that is happening on Wednesdays into my veins.

Sounds like Saudis didn't pay up, Vince left on private plane but talent flight back to US got stopped so many missed Smackdown.

 

That's super ****ed! But hopefully means they stop doing propaganda. **** the "Crown Prince."

The flip side is it made Smackdown awesome. Fresh matchups with the NXT arrival, amazing DB/Cole main event, and idk if they originally had Bayley vs. Nikki in this spot but it was great too. Way better than the advertising "Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin" crap I was gonna skip.

 

Can we just take Bayley out of the Triple Threat and focus just on Shayna and Becky?

 

CM Punk is now apart of WWE Backstage. Still not expecting any in-ring return, and Punk is likely on Fox's payroll, but it seems the animosity has cooled a little.

 

Yeah, this is likely FOX's hire, although, I can't imagine it not happening without at least Vince signing off on it.

Randy Orton is from what I've read, a truly horrible human being.

And Cornette must be fired.

 

I have a feeling a whole lot of people are going to be canned as a result from this (obviously nobody else on screen except Cornette). This wasn't a live show like RAW back in the Attitude Era where blatantly offensive things would be said over the air and Vince had the excuse of 'well, it was live." to cover his ass. This was a pre-taped show; somebody responsible for editing/uploading the show to YouTube should have caught that line before the upload happened. Nothing short of a PR nightmare for the NWA now as a result.

And yes, Cornette must go. In fact, I'd say this is even more of a fireable offense than what got Hogan fired (and Hogan was right to be fired then as well) as Cornette said this on camera vs. being in a private setting not believing what he was saying was being recorded.
