    That's good to see. That had to happen after I switched the channel. I tuned in to see if they were going to do the bell salute as they have in the past. Admittedly I've not watched anything WWE in a year at this point. Solely watching AEW. I will say the tribute they did on Being the Elite today on youtube brought me to tears.

    charlotte flair earlier and just a minute ago, xavier woods, have both mimicked harper's closeline in their matches. phillips hit the "yeah, yeah, yeah!" right as it landed. wwe has done this really well tonight.

    of course it shouldn't be this way, but to say that this is courageous is an understatement. however, it also may show that the mcmahons understand how important austin is to the company for the massive social media/gamer traffic that he's brought in during an era of relatively low television ratings (and may further do so, as a G4 reboot host).

    Watching the first few matches of the Brodie Lee Memorial show.

    Show opens with Mox talking about their 10+years of friendship

    Colt Cabana in full dark order purple and black ring attire. Colt has obviously been crying a lot as his eyes are red.

    any time a dark order member comes out the whole stable but 5 who is standing with Brodie Jr come out.

    Brodie JR.(aka -1) in tailored blue suit like his dad would wear all the standing in the crowd with 5.

    Darby allin without any face paint talking about meeting Brodie this year.

    Rowan just showed up on AEW. Love to see it.

    putting jericho on commentary tonight was a genius move. even if for only a few seconds at a time, he's just about the only guy around who can break through the sadness of this night.

    ...he also keeps referencing WWE names and storylines, lol.

    Over at AEW, Nick Jackson has admitted he had a mild case of Covid back in September that was why they where using camera tricks during that weird semi heel turn where the Bucks where supposedly super kicking people backstage and you never saw Nick's face, it was because it was most likely Sami Guevera in a wig kicking people with Matt.

    Per the BTE episode from Today. Brandon Cutler vs Luchasaurus next week on one of the shows has been booked. And Gallows and Anderson appeared on BTE and mentioned Tama Tonga so they might be able to use the bullet Club name going forward.

    IIRC, Gallows' and Anderson's Impact contracts allow them to perform in New Japan Pro Wrestling whenever the current COVID travel restrictions are lifted.
