Good lord the IWGP Heavyweight Championship is ugly.

 

Yeah, WrestlingObserver said Cole got a concussion. BTW, the injury stuff with Harwood during the tag match was all storyline.

Also, I don't know how it translated on TV, but apparently there was a fight in the stands early on in the Mox-Tanahashi match and that distracted a segment of the crowd during it.

 

I'm just watching it now and heard chants of: "You ****** up" and thought I'd missed a botch from Mox or Tanahashi.

 

Those chants were for the fight. Somebody posted a vid from where they were in the section the fight took place, and you can clearly see the people there chanting that at the guy being escorted out by security (who struggled with them up the stairs while they were forcing him out of the arena).

John Cena’s return on Monday Raw was great. He clarified that there’ll be more than one match he returns for, which is awesome. It’s obvious Theory will be one of those, most likely at Summer Slam.

 

Cenas coming back to put over Theory and Breakker as those two will lead the wwe into the future .

At least WWE dropping Austin Theory's first name makes sense from a storyline perspective (for once), as Vince probably never wants to hear the word 'Austin' again after being stunned by Stone Cold (again) at WrestleMania.

Speaking of Theory - he ain't winning the title from cashing in the briefcase. He'll either lose it Kennedy/Otis style or he'll get Baron Corbin'd.

I'm happy for her too, but I kinda wish WWE wouldn't continue this trend of automatically having the women cash in their briefcases (Asuka's gets a pass because of it's unique circumstances with it actually being for the belt in 2020), the night of or the night after MITB. I think that's why I still like Carmella's cash-in because she waited so long after she won to make good on it.
