Pretty most most of the guys TNA brought in at the start of the year are now gone.

Pretty much everyone in WWE's main event scene is over 40.

Then Triple H, Shane McMahon, Kurt Angle, (and The Undertaker, Kane, Goldust, Jericho and Big Show) must have been doing some pretty hard living.

They aren’t the active main event scene. They’re part timers and guys who get main event spots from time to time.

Owens, AJ, Orton, Cena, Lesnar, Braun, Nakamura, and Joe are given the main programs at the top. Braun is 34, Nak is 37, Orton is 37, Joe is 38, Owens is 35.

Braun is main event now? Jesus.

The drawing main event stars, in other words the faces on the big 4 PPV posters, are the guys previously listed. What remains of the main event scene is at least rapidly approaching 40. Vince has failed to create new stars, and the ageing viewing audience continues to dwindle. But profits are up, so at least a billionaire can profit from the collapse of the pro wrestling industry.

NJPW have diversified revenue streams, similar to the WWE.

WWE made a point on commentary last night to say Natalya won't be apart of the Women's Team Smackdown for Survivor Series, and we'd find out who's replacing Charlotte in that match on Sunday (since she's now the champion and facing Alexa). Paige was originally drafted to SMACKDOWN, just putting that out there.

Dude got 2 years of work out of what was essentially a month long storyline. All because he made the right people laugh. I’d call that success.

James Ellsworth is trending in the UK. He'll have no problem finding work.

I think he'd be a great referee. Not saying that in any derogatory way, I seriously think he'd make an all time great referee.

I just hope WWE let Rockstar Spud be himself. So much potential in that guy.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of Ellsworth's time in WWE, his superkick to AJ is still one of my favourite moments. Considering he'd been treated as a joke, to see him bust that out and do it perfectly (helped in no small part to AJ's selling of it) was great. I just remember thinking "where the hell did that come from?!"
