At the beginning of ATOC, we learn there have been multiple assassination attempts on Padme's life. Your challenge this time is to write one of those attempts. You can use any characters or situations you would like. The only requirement is that Padme doesn't die.

I'm a day early with this, but I'm having some internet issues and I want to make sure it gets posted


Anakin Skywalker has just returned to the Jedi Temple after discovering Palpatine is the Sith Lord.

?Obi-Wan,? he said faintly. ?I need to talk to Obi-Wan-!? From Revenge of the Sith novel by Matthew Stover.

Your challenge this time is to write an AU scene where Anakin gets to talk to Obi-Wan. Does Obi have enough influence with Anakin to keep complete disaster from happening? Or will Anakin's demons override any common sense? That is up to you.

I?m not asking you to re-write the ending of ROTS, though if your muse is so inspired, feel free to do so. All this challenge is asking for is the one scene where the two men speak. Be it in person or by holoscan is up to you.

The deadline is one week from tomorrow, Monday June 22, at midnight board time.

According to The Phantom Menace novel, three days passed from the time Qui-Gon was killed and the Separatists were defeated and the time of his funeral and celebration ceremonies.

Your challenge this time is to write the scene of your choice, using the characters of your choice. The only requirement, is that the scene must take place during that three day period. Qui fans can write about him as a Force ghost watching the goings on or Obi fans can write him coping with his Master?s loss while waiting to hear of Anakin?s fate or Anakin fans can write about him. It?s totally open.
