Personality: Mykael focuses on one objective - the objective of his current mission. In order to accomplish a mission (or any of his goals in life) he will step on toes and do whatever it takes. Mykael usually works alone, preferring to call his own shots in the field. While he can spend days or weeks staking out a warehouse or nosing through leads, he can be impatient and short-tempered with his colleagues and associates. Backstory: Janie was born 19 years before the destruction of her home planet, Sernpidal, by the Yuuzhan Vong. Her parents loved her very much, but her father didn't agree with her choice of career. From an early age, she wanted to be a starfighter pilot. Her father wanted her to marry a wealthy man and start a family on Sernpidal. Because of this disagreement, Janie and her father grew distant. He always loved her, though, even when he groused about her job.

She entered the New Republic Academy when she was 18, and quickly established herself as a fast learner and an above-average pilot. After her first year at the Academy, she was at the top of her class. She was talking with her parents after the first year ended, when Sernpidal was destroyed. The realization that her home was no more was devestating to Janie. She withdrew from all her friends, spending almost all her time studying and practicing. As a result, she was an expert pilot by the time she graduated from the Academy.
