Toronto Question for you guys with technological knowledge, kinda urgent.

    Yeh. I downloaded this TV series, back when the BitTorrent tracker site Demonoid.com was still up, and I want to burn it to DVD for Mom. I'm reasonably sure that it downloaded completely, but for some reason the .avi files are not playing on my computer. Anybody have a clue why? Do I need a special plugin? Or is that an indication that the thing didn't download properly? I guess I'm a tad concerned that, if they won't play on my computer, then they won't burn properly to DVD and Mom won't be able to watch the series.

    Anyway, any help would be appreciated!

    As Dan said you need the proper codes. The for your mom to pay it on a DVD you need a program to convert it to the proper format to burn so it can play on normal DVD players
