Hehe... Well, it's really not that difficult (I knew there was nothing on E3!), I'll explain once the game is over. Which shouldn't be that long anymore, I guess. (Unless people keep missing their rounds. )

So "E" stands for five, Lexi? How weird. I've only ever seen the roman "V" being used. What's the meaning behind the "E", do you know?

And I love the idea of using images there, M_M. Might have to adopt that concept for my next try!

I was referring to the hand showing the number three in American sign language. In Swedish sing language, we use the same sign to show the number eight. Not sure where you got five from

 

Ahhhhh...! LOL, I thought you meant that the "E" plus the "three" (fingers) equals eight in total.

So how do you do "three" in sign language? Using the three middle fingers (and the thumb would be five)?

That's almost correct, but five is all fingers. Six is actually the thumb.

Thanks for the explanation, that was actually quite interesting! I would be so confused if someone gave me a "thumbs up" and meant "six", though.

I wonder why they gave up on the system with the number nine though and started doing weird hand movements. Why not use the same system once more, before you run out of fingers? These things are so illogical sometimes.

Seriously, I have nothing against the French, but I do not like their language. Lots of people say it's so pretty, but I find it... weird. The pronunciation is just strange. And let's not even talk about the way they count!

I only know a couple things in "sign language" but they would get be banned if I used them here.

I live in the French area of Canada and all I have to say: it's a huge mean headache when you're writing. I swear you spend more time asking questions to attempt to find the proper way to write the word than writing a paragraph. And I look like an idiot at times when trying to get the pronounciation of the numbers between 70-80 and 90-99... and best part of it all, logically speaking French is my mother-tongue.

 

I think French is a beautiful language, but I can't speak it to save my life (even though I've studied it in high school).

Swedish sign language is my second language (well, that and English).

For my pics I actually originally had 4 picked out. But it wouldn't let me have it so I shortened to 2. I guess it was for the better. 4 would have been confusing.

Seriously, it's all right there in the very first post of this thread. You just need to pay attention to the amount of points each player is awarded. Example: F5 was worth four points, so it could only be a single rebel and all the adjacent spots had to be empty. Yet you guys kept picking them one by one, leaving the good ones for me. Same with the square C5-D5-C6-D6. The first one of those that was uncovered was worth only two points, so I knew it had to be a group of four or more, and several fields around were already uncovered and proven to be empty early in the game.

You see... no magic needed.
