I actually did that once at a high school band christmas party. They had a stage set up and were doing karaoke. One of our drill leaders had gotten ahold of a couple of dresses from the goodwill store and started asking for volunteers for a skit.

Ended up that he and I and two other guys got onstage and did lovely rendition of "My Little Buttercup". It was quite fun.

I tried to get tickets to either of the Toronto shows, but they were sold out at 10:03. I know there was a presale, so I think that that's where all the tickets went. Looks like I'll be buying them on the internet.

 

While the songs were pretty average, the last episode's "real life" bits were hilarious. Murray's friend, and the Friends bits were awesome. Was expecting a Friendsesque parody theme song, but it didn't come to pass.

Mel's getting even funnier and creepier this season.

And Murray's comment about drinking his own urine when he was in the NZ Army was " ".

 

Haven't been able to see any of the new season apart from the first episode, but get to see them live again when they swing through Philly.
