Hello,

Long time no see. Sorry for the hiatus. Just needed a break. But I am back, maybe not posting new stuff everyday, but I will come in with some new stuff now and again.
WOW...looked up at the header of this forum and saw my Darth Scion I drew and was colored by Dcjosh (Josh Burcham)...what a privalage!!
I don't deserve to be up there though.

Hey Ragelion!! Welcome back! I had to copy-and-paste to see the pics, but they were certainly worth it! Great, both of them, but I especially like the Commander Bly piece--lots of action, and the sniper-droids in the background were very cool!

Ok I'm not a huge fan of Clones...however, these drawings are AMAZING! Fantastic work

 

I am thinkin of coloring these, I just would like to know if those clone troopers standin guard if they are the 501st(troopers that went into the temple) or they just reg troopers.

 

they are the elite 501st

 

Look closely and you'll see that the right trooper has outlines for 501st markings, the left one just standart marking outlines, most likely Cody's 212th Attack Battalion (orange).

If I covered this pic, I'd make the left one blue and the right one orange, just as I said above. But it would look weird with the two of them having different colors, so best would be giving them both blue colors...

 

Actually...I was just going to edit my post...but you beat me to it Corran.
One is a blue 501st...the other is green.

I really like your artwork, it reminds me of the coloring books I get(I like to color what can I say) I also checked out both sites in your sig and usually I am not a big fan of manga and anime but I must say it is good stuff.

 

Well, thats my style. Open. Like an anime cell.
I never really did like all the black that is filled in for shadows in american comics.
I like to let the colorist have their fun. And the colorist that have colored my stuff LOVE it...cause they get to play and do their thing, instead of being confined of a small area and the rest of it is black ink.
I guess as a black and white piece most of my stuff is "boring"...but once its colored...it POPS...if I do say so myself.

Yes, it does pop when colored, I am working on your Bly pic and it is turning out well.

 

Every last picture I printed of yours, and that I am coloring is turning out great. I am just wish I could draw as well as I color.

That is absolutely astounding. Wonderful detail. I have to ask, how are you drawing these beautiful drawings? With pen on paper or is it done digitally with a Wacom Tablet?
