As I've always said, Liz is only 'pretend' dark side. She is a lightsider at heart.

Oh but I already made one, the Jedi one I made cost quite a penny, mostly because I made a belt from scratch and bought a Obi-Wan saber hilt which looks practically perfect.

We'll see when I get around to another one. :)

I'm curious as to how much you estimate being able to put into a Fett costume. For the record it is the second most expensive costume out there (barring one completely perfect C-3PO costume I saw one time but that was a fluke... I think they stole it from Anthony Daniels or something)

And Liz can attain short spurts of the dark side but yeah, she is far more Rebel in nature. I could pick on Wendy and say something similar but I won't :p

Costuming can be as simple or as expensive as you make it. Some people don't have a creative bone in their body, so they just pay other people to make their costumes. Others prefer to make everything theirselves.

The easiest costume is the Rebel Fleet Trooper. The most expensive item from that would be the helmet.

I didn't think the rebel pilot costume was difficult at all. I built the helmet & chestbox from a kit. The rest I sewed myself. If I can sew, anyone can.

I strongly recommend visiting the costumes & props forum on here to talk to the real costumers. I'm just here for the beer. LOL!

Alas, Valerie is right. I can't stay evil for long. I'm much more of a rebel. ;)

/\ Very true. Its either or and I would be one of those people who fall into the "no skill" group. But Some things (especially helmets) require A LOT of skill.

You are very wise to not say anything Roger!! lol

A Fett costume can run over $3000 if you are not willing to take on any of the work yourself. When I finally get ready to work on my own Mandalorian, I will be making everything except the gaunlets and the helmet. I've already put $150 into the costume and plan to spend another $200-$300 by the time I'm done, but I'm making my own armor, jetpack and all sewing for it to save cash.

Why is it that trees die in the winter and are reborn in the summer, but message boards die in the summer and are reborn in the winter? :p

I've noticed that too. I guess people are just away a lot (unlike me) or just feel too lazy to post (sometimes I feel like that lol). I think it's just that people are cooped up inside during the winter when it's cold and during the summer people just want to get out more (I know I'd rather be away from home then stuck at it).

Some of us are keeping the board alive a bit though. I was just thinking this actually today. Does it seem like more traffic on the road lately? It's summer, I tell ya.
