It's important to understand the layers and depth of racism in order to be able to identify, address and tackle it. Being actively anti-racist begins with us understanding the following four dimensions of racism: institutional, structural, interpersonal and internalized. Now ask yourself and reflect, where can you begin to be anti-racist in your life? A good place to start right now is on the interpersonal level - talk to a family member, a friend, a co-worker and have that conversation. It's more than about time.
Surround yourself with people that push you to do and be better. No drama or negativity. Just higher goals and higher motivation. Good times and positive energy. No jealousy or hate. Simply bring out the absolute best in each other...
Some people feel the need to demean others to feel better about themselves because they seek attention which they don't get elsewhere. I almost feel bad or embarrassed for the person picking on the people because they're hurting inside. When somebody is confident they feel no need to do this mindless behavior. Instead they wish to help. Sadly, demeaning others is their way of coping. Whenever people go out of their way to hurt others, it means they are hurting inside. Give that person a hug. Or a kick in the seat, whichever you feel they deserve!
Still alive and kicking, much to the dismay of a few people. Recently went to some of the Men In Black filming locations: They're beautiful... aren't they? The stars. I never really look at them anymore, but they actually are quite... beautiful. Loki anyone? Happily thinking for myself since July 2019 The Devil doesn't own my soul. He just leases it from time to time with an option to buy. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy using a hacked pirate satellite in a decaying orbit
I got my Hasbro Pulse Spengler's Proton Pack early, and it's awesome! My original pack was an 80% sized Spirit Halloween store pack that I heavily modified. This one is full sized and bettter than I could have imagined! Sent from my Samsung Galaxy using a hacked pirate satellite in a decaying orbit
