Perhaps that tease could be for something in the future in which Cobb becomes a ranger

 

I think Cobb spinoff would be way more anticipated than a Cara Dune spinoff so yah, dust off that one-page treatment!

Don't see why Cobb would leave Freetown unless something about being modded made him want to walk, or he just really doesn't like the name Freetown and they refuse to change it back so he leaves in a huff to range the New Republic.

 

Really I think he could be great in a show. Whoever did Episode 2 should either show run Book of snobs or Cobb Vanth and Vanth Rangers

 

I think he could leave if there were a threat heading to Tatooine that he felt he needed to intercept. He's an amazingly quick shot only bested by Cad Bane and also going to be modded now, so he's talented enough to walk with some of the best.

 

I really hope they do revamp this show for Vanth

 

How would you guys get Vanth off the planet if he does get this show eventually

 

To hunt a revived Cad Bane.

He had a deputy in TBOBF.

 

If Cobb resumes his Marshal duties, hopefully his choice of Deputy will be more selective.

 

'Had' is the correct use of the tense.

 

At the end of BoBF, Boba muses that “we’re not suited for this,” and Fennec asks, “If not us, then who?” That heavily implies that Cobb Vanth will become mayor, not a Ranger.

This stuff about Fett wanting to give up his new position of power is overstated IMO. Fett just isn't used to the respect he's seeing, and that's it.

But that doesn't mean he won't show up for crossovers.

You get Cobb Vanth off world by asking for his help, or offering him money, or by making the case that his people's safety depend on it.

I think Boba and Cobb will become partners of a sort. Allies at least.

By the way, we shouldn't assume the creators even want to get Vanth off Tatooine.

 

I think it is sort of hinted that Cobb Vanth will likely replace Boba Fett as Daimyo of Tatooine. He has what it takes to rule the planet or at least keep it's people safe ruling themselves, since I think that's his style, he is not going to try and be crime lord though. Boba Fett is remembered as hero on Tatooine but he will look for purpose elsewhere.

 

I'm guessing his purpose is to ride a mythosaur and become ruler of Mandalore, so he isn't going to stick around Tatooine.
