I just learned mods have the power to make anyone OP lol.
    Thanks @Todd the Jedi

I was just afraid if I actually made the new one it would be locked. Next time when skeleton crew ends I won’t be.

My answer is unchanged. Did The Acolyte have Boba Fett riding a rancor? Danny Trejo? Didn't think so.

That said, I'd still rank The Acolyte above OWK, and call it about on par with Ahsoka.

    1. Andor - and it's not close. 9/10
    2. The Mandalorian - a dud third season, but fun overall. 6/10
    3. Ahsoka - it had its moments. 6/10
    4. The Acolyte - wildly inconsistent. 5/10
    5. Obi-Wan Kenobi - failed to justify its existence. 5/10
    6. The Book of Boba Fett - frequently unwatchable. 3/10

After 6 shows, I'm ready to say that live action Star Wars TV has overall not been a success for me, to my great lament. If they weren't Star Wars, there's no chance I'd persist in watching them apart from Andor.

Hard. Never watched an entire season a second time.

1: Andor - All of it great.
    2: Mando S1-2 - Near perfection.
3: Acolyte - Inconsistent but very fun.
4: Ahsoka - pretty good...except for that one episode.
5: Mando S3 - Fun mostly, but just not quite there. Seemed plagued by Covid and BOBF issues.
6: Kenobi - A few episodes are amazing. 3/4 of it were unnecessary.
7: Boba Fett. - First 2 eps are interesting. The stuff with Luke is what I was waiting 30 years to see. And then it just sinks into an abyss.

    1. The Mandalorian - hits the mythological magic aspect with some genuinely amazing episodes and two all-time great seasons let down mildly by a disappointing third season. For a sense of how impressed I am by it, I find myself conflicted over the movie coming up because of how solidly a “bad” episode is, and I found the first two seasons to be more than just stretched out movies. Also, Luke’s cameo was awe-inspiring.

    2. Andor - The best all-around series on a technical and narrative level, and likely to claim and solidify itself at the top spot with a second season, only barely behind The Mandalorian right now. Only held back mildly by how long it takes to get the “magic” going for the main character tanks to the stylistic choice to emphasize him as an intentionally “mundane” anti-hero.

    3. Kenobi - Definitely below the previous two shows, and the first to truly feel like it’s 100% a movie stretched out over a collection of somewhat “fatty” episodes. What sets it apart from the others below it is that it feels like to has the best “movie idea” in terms of completeness, especially thanks to Li’l Leia and how electric the Vader and Obi-Wan relationship is.

    4. Ahsoka - An extremely strong first two-thirds of a show, and on the cusp of being more than a stretched out movie... and then the third act happens and Filoni tries to keep too many cards to his vest for a TV show, weirdly running away from much narrative build or exposition exploration.

    5. The Acolyte - Another significant drop in total enjoyment by me, albeit still a good show I would defend as mostly just needing to acknowledge what it is - a movie plot worth maybe two hours max - and stop trying to be what it isn’t - a TV show with content worthy of a season of episodes. The format mistake most negatively impacts the main characters in the twins, who get stuck waiting for looooong periods to finally start being dynamic.

    6. The Book of Boba Fett - Another “movie masquerading as television” series, except it’s purely a B-movie film story even by Star Wars standards. The fact it got shown up by an interrupting pair of episodes of The Mandalorian that set up a later-aborted plotline says a lot. It also feels like it ignored the easiest fix: integrating Cad Bane earlier as the primary antagonist.

After much consideration, while I think Andor is the best executed series overall, I still prefer the The Acolyte as my favorite series so far for its characters and the boldness of its storytelling. It ultimately had higher highs that will stick with me for a very long time, especially in the back half. It's also the only Star Wars season to earn multiple 9/10 episode ratings from me (no episode from any season has yet earned a 10/10).

    Rankings broken down by season:

    1. The Acolyte season 1
    2. Andor season 1
    3. The Book of Boba Fett
    4. The Mandalorian season 1
    5. The Mandalorian season 2
    6. Obi-Wan Kenobi
    7. Ahsoka season 1
    8. The Mandalorian season 3

    Andor - 8/10
Diving into oppression isn't exactly my SW jam, but it was well executed nonetheless. Peak verisimilitude. Iconic visual moments that really add to the tapestry of SW. At times a bit repetitive with its limited locations, specifically the Mothma stuff.

    Ahsoka - 7/10
I've never really dug the FIloniverse, but it really came to life here between the sublime art direction, character designs and new lore contributions. A whole new galaxy and all that. On that level, this show pulls its weight more than all the other Disney SW efforts (namely the ST) combined, really feeling like it "belongs" to SW while expanding what SW is. But overall story/character work with Ahsoka/Sabine wasn't great, with so much vague backstory. And the Sabine Jedi stuff was a big stretch. Can't believe Filoni of all people made that mistake. And Thrawn is kind of a joke. But character work aside, consider me on board the Filoni train with season 2, the Heir to the Empire movie and all that just to see where this all goes from a lore perspective.

    Obi-wan - 5.5/10
Uninspired. Often ridiculous. But at least we got some worthy Obi-wan/Vader moments, like Obi-wan learning of Anakin's survival, etc, which I think added more than it took away from their story. And I thought Rupert Friend's Grand Inquisitor was a lot of fun to watch.

    Mandalorian - 5/10
As I initially predicted once it first came out, the lustre of live action SW being able to be done on TV wore off quick. Feels like Clone Wars in the worst way. Bland, shallow, short episodes that are too in love with Filoni's contributions to lore which are nowhere near as cool as he thinks. But Grogu is a nice addition to SW, even if they tanked that simple story by s3.

    Acolyte - 4/10
Fantastic fights, locations, and character designs. Sol was great, and it was neat to see more of the old Jedi, as well as a story that seems like it's trying to be a bit more dramatic, purposeful, and cohesive than a fluffy season of Mando, but ultimately a poorly executed story at the end of the day, one that feels like it detracts from SW more than anything given the sacred territory its dealing with. And witch chants, homesick Torbin? just....really lame stuff.

    Boba Fett - 2/10
For the one solid Mando bit with the space station and the N1 starfighter.

My fuller thoughts and comparison to how I felt about these shows at the end of Ahsoka. Unfortunately, with a decent sample size now, I think Star Wars on Disney+ has been a failure in terms of quality. Apart from Andor, I wouldn't persist with any of these shows if they weren't Star Wars. This grandest of sci-fi universes deserves so much better!

    1) Andor. Smart, emotionally compelling TV that interrogates fascism and revolution in a way that feels insightful and immediate. Great acting, writing, production. The best Star Wars since Empire. 9/10 Score stayed the same
    >
    >
    >
    >
    >
    >
    2) The Mandalorian. Generally fun space adventure show. Very inconsistent and rough around the edges. A few great episodes, some solid ones, and some clangers. Has a very amateurish vibe that some people find charming but makes me wish they'd hired some more experienced TV production talent. I was hoping it would unlock its potential and become consistently good at some point, but after three patchy seasons, with the worst saved for last, I don't have much hope for any potential Season 4. 6/10 Gained 1 point with some distance from a poor Season 3, and also gained a rank
    3) Ahsoka. An often charming live action return for a cast of beloved characters that swings for the fences with its mythic stylings. Doesn't always succeed and suffers at times from the Disney+ curse of dodgy production, writing and acting. High highs and some tough lows. 6/10 Score stayed the same but dropped a rank
    4) The Acolyte. A great concept and a chance to step into a new stretch of the timeline. Had lots of potential. Wonderful performances from Lee Jung-jae and Manny Jacinto. The best lightsaber action since the prequels. Unfortunately the quality of acting and writing was wildly inconsistent from episode to episode and there were some baffling character, plot and structure choices that undermined its good qualities. 5/10
    5) Obi-Wan Kenobi. I enjoyed it on my first watch but the more I think about it the more disappointed I become. Very unpolished, mixed performances, dialogue and effects. To justify bringing back two of the most iconic characters in film they really needed something special, and this was not it. 5/10 Score stayed the same, dropped a rank
    6) Book of Boba Fett. Morrison does his best with what he was given, which was... not great. Still stunned that they decided to give Fett such a milquetoast characterisation. Add the worst of the dodgy production that has plagued live action Star Wars outside Andor and certain Mando episodes, and this was a bit of a stinker. Redeeming qualities were the pair of OK Mando episodes they snuck in. 3/10 Score stayed the same, dropped a rank

    1 Kenobi (9/10)
I really love all the Hayden scenes. Kid Leia was perfect. Kenobi was excellent and I think they tip toed the line of effecting canon well enough for me. I think some of the plot contrivances were unnecessary though. Love the rock throw and ship pull that happened big wow moments.
    2 Andor (9/10)
insanely well made and acted. Awesome premise. Probably deserves top spot but the highs of Kenobi go higher for me even if the lows are also lower.
    3 Mando (8/10)
lots of fun very solid main cast. Love when Luke shows up at the end of the first season. I want a little more politics like the droids episode in season 3.
    4 Ahsoka (8/10)
Very interesting premise and great acting, but it got very wonky at times. Loved the Hayden scenes and the flashback to TCW. Very curious for season 2.
    5 Acolyte (7/10)
Really liked everything up to the final episode then it takes a dip, the problem for me is the scripts logic not the acting. Maybe the best acting other than Andor. Lightsaber fights were impeccable. Bleeding the blade was another wow moment for me.
    6 BoBF (6/10)
I really didn't like bits and pieces of BoBF (especially the 10 mph Vespas) but it had really high highs like the Tuskens and the Rancor and Cad Bane.

A line through all of these that I didn't cover is a really like when we get a taste of politics and I hope for any of these that get more seasons, especially the Acolyte and Ahsoka we get more of tye political situation and how the main characters are effecting the galactic situation.

    1) Andor - Loved it from the first episode.
    2) The Mandalorian - Seasons 1 & 2 are the best of the live-action shows. It's only behind Andor because of season 3.
    3) Obi-Wan Kenobi - I didn't like him chasing after Leia for the entire series. But the Vader/Kenobi moments were great. The tiny bit we got to see little Luke (the twin I actually thought we would see more of, considering Kenobi was on Tatooine and protecting Luke was literally his only job.) was good too.
    4) Ahsoka - I never have been a fan of Ahsoka, but the Anakin scenes made it worth it.
    5) The Book of Boba Fett - I didn't even make it through the whole series. The only thing about it I liked was the Luke moments.
    6) The Acolyte - I plead the fifth.

Andor — nuff said, the best produced/written live-action series by far, even though it should have had more aliens and some better props/costuming that don't look so earth-like/default sci-fi.

    (Power Gap)

    Ahsoka —
while the story/dialogue were pretty bad, some of the lightsaber battles were not very good, and some character work was straight up nonsensical (Jedi Sabine, Ahsoka/Sabine off-screen unknown relationship, Thrawn being boring and lame), I enjoyed Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno as Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati (more so than anything in live-action Disney SW, just such cool villains), Kevin Kiner's music was great as usual, art direction was great. For the most part, I enjoyed the feel and aesthetics of the show. Natasha Liu Bordizzo was also good as Sabine, and that guy was great as Ezra. I don't even like Rebels, but I enjoyed their live-action counterparts more. The show is not great, but I had a fun time watching it. Though I still hate how live-action Ahsoka looks/moves, and I vehemently disagree with the casting decision.

    (Power Gap)

    Mando —
shallow and boring. Had some fun moments and a few interesting characters (Bill Burr's ex-Imperial, for example), but otherwise it was just videogame RPG sidequests in TV-format. Main character literally gathers pieces of armor and weaponry every episode, escorts someone, completes fetch quests, kills monsters of the week. It would have been much better as a videogame. Baby Yoda is the single most blatant, forced, artificial, manipulative marketing gimmick to ever grace Star Wars. And people gave Lucas crap for Ewoks, lol. I was annoyed and tired of BY's "cute" repetitive gags after the first few episodes. The show overall was just so thin on the actual narrative, it was painfully boring to me. It had potential to be something more in Season 3, but they screwed it up completely and utterly. My disappointment with how the whole Mandalorian (titular character and race/culture) and Bo-Katan arcs were handled is immeasurable, and I frankly don't want to see Mandalorians ever again after that abysmal Season 3. Also, Beskar is stupid, it kills all the stakes and creativity in every single action sequence. It's just Mando tanking shots and shooting dummies. Boring. There is nothing exciting when your main character is literally invulnerable and wears plot armor materialized.

    (Power Gap)

    Boba Fett
    — the show that retroactively destroyed the Mandalorian and undid its story. This one's truly fascinating. Boba Fett is a crime lord who doesn't do any crime. He's also 60 now. Oh, also Cad Bane was there for one episode in the end to die pathetically. The funniest part was when they referenced an unmade Clone Wars arc that literally no one got to see. Cyberpunk vespa gang and the slowest car chase in cinematic history. Absolute mess. The only good thing I can say about it is that sometimes it was so bad it was genuinely funny. Like The Room, it's so bad it's occasionally good.

    (Power Gap)

    Kenobi —
everything about it was terrible, except Ewan's acting and Bail Organa. Reva was a terrible character and her story made no sense whatsoever - more so, this terrible character actively took over the show, which was more about her than Obi-Wan, the story overall was absolutely moronic and actively screwed up Obi-Wan as a character, pitch black cinematography and shaky camera work were abysmal, music was some royalty-free stock bland placeholder. Action choreography was bad. It had the slowest chase in the woods in cinematic history, where three grown people cannot catch a 10 year old girl who looks like she's 6 and can barely run, in what was basically some kind of Looney Tunes sequence. Also Obi-Wan sneaking Leia under a trench coat. Yikes. Oh, and Qui-Gon can now be a corporeal ghost, even though Lucas explicitly said that he could not become one, which was further explicitly confirmed in The Clone Wars. Terrible show that absolutely did not need to exist. Felt like a PT nostalgia bait and nothing more.

    (Power Gap)
    (Power Gap)
    (Power Gap)
    (Depths of Hell)

    The Acolyte —
evil, malicious, subversive, poorly crafted, poorly written, poorly acted, cringe-inducing fanfiction propaganda. While the other shows were bad, at least they did not actively try to sell you a morally bankrupt worldview of the showrunner. The only good thing about it was the lightsaber battles. Whoever was in charge of that should get a promotion. And good job to the actors for actually training and pulling it off. Which some of the Ahsoka cast clearly could not pull off.

It was a really tough cal between the first two spots, but as much as I think Andor is the best-produced Star Wars movie/TV series we've gotten out of the Disney era... I just love hanging out with Din Djarin and Grogu too much. Genuinely excited for them to get a movie.
